My grandparents had this tape and I used to watch it all the time. This is actually the Disneyland that I feel the most nostalgia for, which is funny bc I never saw it, I was a decade too late lol
There was a tall man (usher) he was a regular there always friendly and played his role well… do yall remember that guy he was there up till like early 2000 I believe but throughout my childhood, teens and young adulthood he was there. Forgot his name…
It’s so different now. This sense of escapism and visiting the past is gone. It’s still a great park, but this kind of immersive experience is just not there any more.
Nice, but it would be even more nice if we could see a never-before-seen lyricless variation of Disney's Sing-Along Songs live-action spinoff video, "Disneyland Fun", like this at 4:12. I suggest we'll keep an eye out for it.
This was a pretty good anti-smoking cartoon that didn't preach too heavy about the dangers of tobacco. I wonder what the main character's job was, though? Working at a Wild West-thened summer camp?
This was Basco’s third credited role, with the first two roles being Eddie (and the kid that said “Theirs” in the education scene) on the Wonder Years, and Amado on Santa Barbara.
I was a kid when i visited in '88...i have faded memories of the first room you go in and the floor drops and on the ceiling was like a hologram of some dude that hanged himself...truly terrifying as a young lad!
