I have drywall mud, do you have to mix wood glue in it, is it necessary? This is something new I want to try, what is brisol, if it's a sealer is that used if your not painting it or is it to seal the putty so it doesn't re-soften?
@@JerseyborngmailMusic5tree It's exciting to start something new, have fun with the process, creating is all about experimenting and seeing what works for you there are many routes to get to the same destination 😉 My suggestion is to add an adhesive. If this is a personal project there is an inexpensive way is to make your own glue by mixing flour and water. You can use the drywall mud without adding glue, but before investing in a big canvas, buy a small canvas and apply the drywall mud without glue see how that works for you, give your piece enough time to dry to see the end results. I try to simplify my recipes and process, after a year the pieces that I created in this video still looks the same, no cracks 🙌 As for the word Brisol, maybe you meant bristle? I was referring to the type of brush I used to apply the sealer. I always seal my work, painted and unpainted, sealer protects your art from moisture; dust and it gives the piece longevity. Please watch my video on "How to seal textured art on a canvas | Protect your artwork" Keep on watching videos on the subject, I'm sure there are many creators that are experts on Textured art and you may find their videos useful. If you don't love the piece that you create try again, you only get better by practicing. I hope this helps🌸
Hi Vanessa, thank you so much, I posted a video yesterday ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4cbc2YxX1IY.html my next video will be up on Sunday 😊
Hi, thank you for your comment ♡ I eat when I am hungry, I would never go hungry for aesthetics. Some days I eat more than other days especially if I am working out Just as a reference my lunch was 50g of brown rice with mixed veg, feta and half a tin tuna and sunflower seeds, that was more than enough for me 🙂
I don't understand your comment, but please do not minimize what others are going through, just bcz it doesn't compare to someone else's situation... this is a 1 minute clip... btw I am from South Africa and living in SA
Hi Parnika, When working on a bigger surface a thin mist of water can actually prevent cracks from forming once your piece is dry. It would not normaly be nessasarry to use water with this mixture as this mixture gives you ample time to work even when you change your mind and start over, however I changed my mind too many times, and I could feel the consistancy of the paste changing, so using the water gave me more time to complete the design (I did work the water well into the paste). Also in the video the layer of paste I applied to the canvas looked much thicker than it actually was. Too thick of a paste can also crack your art piece. How to repair cracks - Applying a little filler with your finger should fix the problem. Allow your art to dry for several weeks before sealing your work. Good luck 😊
During this season when we are supposed to exhale the stress of the year and inhale the feelings of joy and peace, so often we are left with feeling the holiday blues. Let’s be frank, along with the joy of the season comes the craziness of the seasonal hustle and bustle. This video is a reminder to take stock of how you are feeling, to take a break when it is needed, and that it is important to recharge mentally; emotionally and physically. Season’s greetings to you and your family, stay safe Much love Gail
Vlogmas day 2. Homemade surface cleaner, clean with me. We repair old Christmas stockings. I came up with a way to make permanent fake snow for my pinecones and tackle my decorating dilemma
I hope this video is beneficial to someone struggling to put themselves first. It is okay to fill your own emotional cup, to take a break, it is even okay to do nothing, to put your to-do list away and to make yourself the priority. I ate well, practice joyful movement, I filled my spiritual cup, I caught up on a series and watched a movie with my husband. The weekend ended with a family drive to the Steenbras dam and water treatment plant, we enjoyed hot chocolate and muffins and soaked up the view. Just what I needed, fresh air and quality family time.
Hi guys, this video is to introduce myself and my small business Sublime Style and Décor, I am situated in Gordon's Bay, Western Cape, South Africa. I've always had a passion for design and creating, I design styled backdrops and create handmade goods and style photoshoots, I started Sublime as an entity where I can do all that I love under one banner. I opened up my studio in Gordon's Bay, where the public is welcomed, we have pre-decorated backdrop walls perfect for that selfie moment and for a styled photoshoot.
