Take the final impression/scan after the tissue has been managed. I start sculpting tissue 4 months post implant placement. The day the implant goes in, I place PEEK abutment and make the provisional in the mouth without taking an impression.
I do digital, and the final restoration is designed in 3Shape, but the tissue should always be formed before the final impression or scan. You can never accurately predict how the tissue will respond to different contours. You can get close, but always best to form with a screw retained provisional prior to impression/scan.
I liked this a lot! I have been trying to find for a video that informs the ideas in this RU-vid video! 🙌 🩺 The part at 1:29 is my fav. Your vid is like the vids from Dr. Ethan. His demonstrations are for sure knowledgable and I actually learned a lot for my exams! You should check his RU-vid out and give the doc a subscribe! 👉 #DoctorEthanScience
