Good evening ❤ 🙏. Thank you so much for your awesome presentation. Super well done as usual 👏. I wish you a terrific weekend 🥰💙🦋. Mark Bensette Aux Bois 🇨🇦.
Hi! Thank you for watching and sharing your experience. I really appreciate you and your kind words. From the left to the right, the gongs are as follows: 16” Solar Flare Gong, 32" Paiste Symphonic Gong, 20” Taoist Breeze Gong and the 22” Taoist Moonlight Gong. The mallet that I am using with the bowls is one that I received when I ordered my Swarm Swinging 9 Bar Chimes. You can also purchase these mallets directly from Svaram. Mine is the medium red. ~Many Blessings
You have such a unique way of playing these bowls ❤ Very gifted! I could definitely feel you taking me on a journey, bringing me back and going deeper and deeper! The short version is great but this version is awesome! And, it is very relaxing. Thank you!
Thank you for sharing! Let me know if there is something specific you would enjoy hearing and the length of time of your most preferred listening time.
Hi Johanna, Thank you for your inquiry! It really all depends on several factors to include: (1) how much space you have, (2) how you like to play (sitting / standing), (3) If you are looking for more of a stationary option or a travel option, (4) if you think you might be adding an additional gong to the stand in the future, (5) gong stand expansion capabilities (if that is important to you), (6) quality and price, and (7), personal preference. I have several different stands that I’ve purchased for many different reasons. But, I started out with purchasing smaller gongs accompanied with smaller gong stands which you can see in one of my recent videos. When I was ready to purchase a larger stand, I spend many hours/days researching what was best for my situation taking into account all of the factors I noted above - and often changed my mind so don’t feel like you should to make a quick decision. Sit with your decision for a few days and consider how it feels. Envision having such a stand in your gong playing environment and imagine how it works for you and if it will suit your current/future needs. There are several companies that I’ve purchased from that sell gong stands and would recommend checking out their websites for recommendations for your 30” Atlantis gong. Gongs Unlimited is one company that is easy to work with. Whenever I have a question, I send them an email and they are pretty quick to respond. Continue asking questions until you feel comfortable with your decision. I hope you find this information helpful. ~Many Blessings, Kimberly
It’s hard to know if I’ll like standing while playing or if I will like to sit since I’ve never played one before I wouldn’t know. I would be using it in my house and in my backyard and then bringing it back in. They have a really cool welcoming stand but it’s not portable These are all great things to think about
One of the most versatile and portable stands I own, and love, is the “Tone of Life Telescopic Gong Stand”. The one I have fits gongs up to 36”. It is a super nice option if you are considering moving your gong to different locations (indoors as well as outdoors). It is simple to put together and very lightweight! You’d be surprised how heavy and complicated some of the stands can be! With this stand, you will play in a sitting position. I see the Welcoming stand. It looks similar to another one that I have and it looks light in weight and should also be very easy to move. Hi! It's really difficult keeping up with all the different gongs that are being made these days. I just researched the Aquarius gong and it seems quite similar to the Atlantis gong. Very sweet! I love the tones!
I agree! Unfortunately, I do not have rights to produce such a video using their technology. BUT, you can go to Solo's RU-vid page and listen to their video (no talking). I provided a link at the end of my video but I'll provide it again below: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-sbra1ZYtoqo.htmlsi=5zXhsThZalpLJ-Ls
Yes indeed! This is a phenomenal bowl! Below is a link to a different short video with the same bowl. I think you will really like this one. 🤗 You have a great evening as well! ~Many Blessings
Very cool 😎. Thank you so much for this awesome music 🎶. Very nicely presented. I hope everything is going well in Your world 🌎. Mark Bensette Aux Bois 🇨🇦.
Hello ❤! It is so great to meet you 😊. Thank you so much for this absolutely beautiful presentation. Very nicely played and presented. I hope everything is going well in Your Life 😇😍💕🌹. Have a terrific new week ahead 😀. Mark Bensette Aux Bois 🇨🇦.
Where do I find the short mallets and the wire brush you used? I really like the added texture of the few simple brush strokes, very clever! The short, thick mallet handle looks much easier to control! I tried deep space Soundscapes but I did not see the thick handle mallet
Thank you and thank you for listening! I purchased the mallet from John Minks (Deep Space Soundscapes). I love this mallet so much that I made a review. In this review, I go over all of the measurements. Here is the link to my video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-UPPR6zLUjPA.html John is aware of this video so you can always mention to him that this is the type of mallet you are looking for. It definitely is MUCH easier to work with and allows me to play for long periods of time without any body aches. I can even play (self-meditation) with my eyes closed without worry about hitting the gong. I am most definitely a proponent of the thicker handle! The wire brush... This is a good video. Thank you. I have a 38 inch Paste Planetary gong. On these larger gongs, these mallets are so heavy. I find that after long periods of playtime in session with clients, my neck and my back injury flares up. I’m wondering if there’s another mallet that is lighter that you might recommend that will have the same impact as the big, large heavy mallet that came with it, I also bought two other mallets that are matching that look like yarn rope so that I could do the rolls with both mallets at the same time ~ I love the sound that I get from them but the weight of these mallets is just so much. Would you recommend a lighter mallet that would make the same impact?
Hi Chanda, So glad you found benefit from this video! I totally understand what you mean about the heavy mallets. You really do need to watch the body mechanics while playing to keep from feeling achy. That is one reason why I really only play my instruments while standing. I have a couple of videos where I played my smaller gongs in a sitting position and found it to be most uncomfortable. Using John Mink’s stubby mallets while playing my 40” Atlantis gong, I found that I can play for 45 minutes straight without even pausing and I do not ache at all, and my arms and hands do not tire out. I have two stubby mallets and often play with both of them together….somewhat in a rolling fashion. One is heavier than the other and both produce different tones. If you contact John and let him know what you are looking for, he can custom make you a mallet to your desired specs (within reason). I also like the short stubby mallets because the likelihood of accidentally hitting the gong with the handle is greatly reduced! Again, very helpful when playing for long periods of time. Also, with the stubby mallets, I can play with my eyes closed for self meditation. Always feel so blissful afterwards!!! Aside from what I show in the video, I have a lot of other mallets but I mostly choose to play with the stubbies. My favorite roller mallets are "Gongs Unlimited" Space Grape Mallets. They are also very lightweight and can play for extended periods of time without feeling any body aches. I hope this response has been helpful. ~Many Blessings
Wow how am I only the 10th person to like this?! Your energy work and sound healing is Divine and (in my opinion) it deserves many more people clicking the like button. Your magical tones send ripples of goosebumps through my body. I send you a multitude of gratitude and blessings in return. Thank you, Namaste 🙏
