Dumoulin was a real gentleman!!!, that kind of person/atleth are very rare, sometimes education or family values are a factor, there are many many excuses for not to do the right thing.
Demi is ook grote klasse (en waarschijnlijk ook wel beter) maar AVDB? De absolute Verpletteraarster? Jaaa! Supertof! Anna, zolang als 't duurt, nog een paar overwinningen/podiums erbij!
lol i live on Sugarloaf and the idea that winter is totally rideable and that you can easily ride the mountains 2 days after a snowstorm is ludicrous. The corners and shaded parts of the canyons stay snow-bound and ice-bound for weeks at a time. You can barely drive it with snow tires. Yes, you can probably ride to Hygiene if it warms up to 40-50 after a storm, but the mountain roads are still going to be rivers of black ice.
Hardest thing about Boulder riding is you want to swap out bikes midway through your ride once you abruptly go from smooth blacktops to chewed-up gravel.
😂 The best equipment ( some of those bikes are now banned) and the best doctors that is really what it comes down to. We are not naive he was a phenomenal cyclist but his size on climbing go sell me some moon property if you believe that he was clean. Either way the new pro cycling has lost this nostalgia. He quit at the right time and thus did not get the doping spotlight on him.
Inspirational, I fell just over 3 weeks ago, fractured femur just below neck, haven't felt pain like it. I'm a 68 yr old audaxer but very fit, back on the turbo after two weeks and looking for stories like your's to motivate me when I'm not watching MvdP and Tadej 🙂. Thanks!
Is anyone else doing the Tour of Utah on an iFit bike? I have stage 6 tomorrow. They broke it up into 4 rides but tomorrow is an hour and 8 minutes with almost 4,000 of elevation gain. Should be a brutal workout.
