Fixing to do mine on a 2019 mx T-680. Gonna do it exactly as you did yours. Horton Reman at San Antonio KW was almost $1600 w 580 core charge bringing it to $914. Yours is same midroof as mine. Wish me luck. Heavy part!
@semitrucker it is definitely heavy!! Make sure you pull the radiator forward enough or it makes it even more difficult. Leave those bottom retaining bolts in so you can just slide the new one on and dont have to try and hold it up with one hand while you put the bolts back in

@JT.680 davie4 is what kenworth uses and otr performance is more of an overview of your trucks live data. But you can also clear xodes and derates, which is super important
It was nice. So much less craziness and traffic than the lower 48. Its super pretty out in the boonies and it kinda felt time time traveling. Gigantic dairy farms with milk cows out grazing on perfectly green grass. I enjoyed it
@JTcummins i have 8 locks on them, parking in non shitty areas, situational awareness, cameras, insured them for more than theyre worth and i have a wireless hole puncher if things got really bad
This video and comments are very helpful to me as I have this same 48' trailer and am new to step decks. When I have to load one of these I will be better prepared. Thank you.
@lathanhowe5531 I bought it on ebay with the part # listed as F31-1170-06. It was honestly pretty difficult to track down and when i ordered it, it said "only 1 left". Just checked ebay from the seller i used and its unavailable. Ill try to see if i can help you find one. Fun fact, that looks like a 53 foot trailer, if so you’re not legally allowed the overhang off the back. Also you can’t even get permits to be legal since it’s multiple pieces. I would have put some friction mat on the deck in front of the rear tires of van 1, flipped the ramp over and used it to raise the back of the van up. I’m guessing where it was hitting the step got pretty beat. Love your content though. Flatbed and step deck are a constant learning experience!
@mikesoldavini3131 it may look like a 53 with that deck space behind the rear trailer, but it isnt. 48' measured and double checked when purchased, mainly bc i thought they messed up and gave me a 53 for the price of a 48 lol ive learned sooooo much since i made this video. I was basically brand new at stepdeck when i hauled this
When you key up on the cb, are you getting interference? It will knock out one sometimes two of my cams... then i have to restart it to get it to work again.
@SomeoneAbnormal yes it does. Mine will shut down one cam right away, then a second after a couple seconds of talking. They come back online when i stop transmitting, sometimes theyll be in black and white. Ill key it up and let off quickly and it usually brings it back into color. The next truck i put cams on will be the amazon rv camera kit. I have a friend that got it, and the resolution is much more clear, the monitor is high resolution, and it's only like $200-$300. Definitely overpaid by like $1,200 for the falconeye kit, lol
@justanotherotrguy sounds similar to mine... yeah I overpaid as well, but I had someone try to pass me on passenger side of clover leaf get on ramp, .. needles to say 100% their fault and their insurance wrote me a $10k check no questions asked for my plastic fairings damage. It pays for itself eventually unfortunately/fortunately lol. Glad I'm not the only one. I noticed your radio was in similar distance from dvr as mine. Same radio... thanks for the response.
@justanotherotrguy the wireless transmitter I'm not impressed with that they offer. Maybe it needs a repeater, but it went out shortly after installing. I mounted it next to license plate on trailer. Nice if you're having into black hole when it worked lol
Where were you when i needed you most? Lol i didnt get the first one on video, when i stepped up with full confidence like i was climbing in my truck. I think my spine compressed about 2" lmao
@coryhoover01 the world stops spinning without diesel! Delivered machinery for an EV manufacturing warehouse a few weeks ago too. Need them diesels to get you all your parts and machines!!
@Brewerboysmusic found him years ago! His music is amazing. My favorite songs are dealing depair and the performance with don julin, where they do 12:30 minutes of mashup songs and its incredible

Im glad to hear it. Thats exactly why i started this channel to begin with! To help fellow drivers fix their stuff themselves and save money.
