Dear Sir! You had an oversight while reading the data for "Ordinary reinforced concrete moment frames" @ 1:19:43 . The actual values for "Response Modification Coefficient, R_a," "Overstrength Factor, Ω_0^b," and "Deflection Amplification Factor, C_d^c are 3, 3, 2½ respectively for Ordinary reinforced concrete moment frames . Besides there are some minor oversights in the video. Best Regards Inayat
Hello, how to define in Etabs that the bracing of my building is provided by concrete frames when we don't have reinforced concrete bracing wall? should i release moments at the start and end of columns or at the start and end of the beams ? the bracing is provided by free-standing reinforced concrete portal frames
Thank for the video. However I do not grasped how W=0.240 k/ft for triangular loading and then W-0.15 k/ft for the UDL. How is those values obtained. I believe I have missed something between W, Wo and w. Thanks in advance.
Hi! I have explained the actual distribution and equivalent distribution in my video. The formulas are derived based on moment calculations. Watch video from time step 3:30 to 7:00.
Sir When will you be make a video to generate the drawing data in the form drawing of this structure? Kindly make that video we will be highly appreciate you. ❤
I have already uploaded a video on detailing. you can refer the following link. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-orGxC-Dx-Js.htmlsi=KJK7l9Ewu_M8_Gvb
Thanks for sharing. This is really helpful. But I'm wondering what if we want to reduce the moment 50%, by the reduction factor formula we have 50%/(1-50%) = 1. So it goes back to the normal stiffness, how do we deal with that?
Thank you very much .. Is there a way to make an inclined roof and apply wind load to it? Because the Way you applied the wind load will cause the wind to be completely normal to the inclined roof .. but the reality is that it would be inclined
Dear Sir Guru; Its a Great Video Tutorials. We hope in the future, you will time to upoad your tutorial for Low Rise Building, etc. Its amazing I learn alot but before I forget, I would appreciate very much if you could help me, to avail an installer so that I can apply all I learned. Thank you very much. Engr Saeed Gogo, Mindanao State University
