t's not "network issues" its scaling and infrastructure issues that have been known about since before MP even released. The fact that they couldn't get the system to work with >5000 players and went live for 150k+ players with 0 public or stress testing and purely on "hopes" says all it needs to. "The problems will be temporary" - no the problems have been around forever and will be around for a long time. Those expecting a fix in days or even a week are hard dreaming. Anyone who has followed the development of this game knows it's history. "More servers" isn't going to fix the bad spaghetti code mess - and that's going to take a long time for a small dev studio to rewrite for scalability. The fact is they "launched" the game in an unplayable state for more than half it's game modes - 1.0 was more than anything a PR move to promote the game. 95% of the game was already here pre 1.0 - we got gfx, and 2 sub classes. Network scalability and infrastructure should have been an utmost priority leading up to 1.0 - and should have been tested extensively since MP was added - instead they just left it as "barely working" and now corpo simps expect "sympathy" for blatantly launching a broken game. They had a 0% hope for the servers to ever work - and whatever work they are doing now to the servers could have been done prior to launch via beta stress test etc. - but wasn't. Instead - like every other dev out there - they expect their paying customers to simply do that work for them and then garner sympathy from it as well. I'm tired of it. It's not okay. I don't care how "small" a studio is. I'm a "small" car manufacturer - and there is a reason I don't produce cars that I claim road worthy - responsablity. Something the entire games industry has forsaken because it';s filled with corporate consumer simps that refuse to listen to valid critisisms of anything they tie their entire identities to.
