Seriously, narscissistic behaviour can easily be found with younger adults. They're delusional about their skills and abilities, especially the standard of techonological skills they claim they"re grow up with. They're not aware the fact that every tech devices or services they're using right now, was the creation by the older generations.

I think it's hopeless to explain this to most people on the 21st century, but there's nothing wrong with "you". There's a lot wrong with the system of slavery in which we live. Chickens and pigs are not the only animals that live in farms, humans do to. But our farm is much harder to see because of all the lies we have been told in school, implicitly and explicitly.
@@LawHero I know there's a famous book with animals that act like humans, but I've never read it. Don't know if that's the point. I recently saw in a video that in the 15th century on England (where usury was outlawed) the peasants used to work 17 weeks a year. Can you imagine that? So much "progress" we've had...

But yes, generally we are kept so busy by the achievement society we do not have time to rebel. That is why during COVID, people had time to consider racism in the US, among other things and BLM became so widely known.
@@LawHero people at large have never considered anything in their lives, they are led by the media which is controlled by a handful of corporations. Those movements are not about racism, they are about dividing the people into a myriad of irrelevant categories so they fight among themselves while the people in power keep all the money.
I agree, but I think women of the past would not be impressed by what you wear, but by how little freedom you have, considering modern women are obligated to work 8+ hours a day until old age. That would seem clinically insane to most women throughout history (or even 50 years ago). Feminists have really lied to women. They even dared to use the word "liberation". What a joke.
I really enjoyed this video! I think it does bring awareness to the fact that many of us are chasing achievements with that being the driving pressure to act rather than the pressure of religious beliefs + social acceptance. I find with the trend of new age spirituality God/Universe is a much more supportive figure but often utilized to push people towards achievement.

my other half made the exact same assertion when I told him about the experiment. I suppose for me the interesting part was the deviation percentage between aroused and not aroused. I think we all know the phrase the "heat of the moment".
The problem is that we are social animals. So whilst not caring what people think may free you, ultimately we all rely on each other for advancement. Look at Diogenes, the father of cynicism, who shares this belief, trying to show people up as mindless hypocrites. I believe that cynicism can also be a slavery of sorts.
People like to think they've earned their success, it makes them feel good about themselves and important, and protects their self-esteem. They don't want to admit they were successful mostly because of luck, connections, where and who they were born to, and that someone is more deserving than them but just was less fortunate in life. The World should strive to be a meritocracy which would make it much more productive, and benefit us all in the long run collectively.

How do you expect us to buy your book and other materials when you don't know how to pronounce some of the most basic legal terms? Legislature and Justiciability mispronounced in this video alone
Hello Jen, I found that very interesting, thank you. It sure is a paradox and undermines genuine good performance and idea generation. It’s that balance you speak about that we need to get to. I got rid of the smart watch I had for running and went back to a simple digital watch with external HR monitor. No more alerts or constantly relying on a smart watch to not only record all physical activity but also no more social media alerts etc. I may be wrong, but I think people are too connected digitally nowadays. That contributes to what you were saying about always having a fire to put out, because we are too connected DIGITALLY. I think people are sick of this lifestyle and like everything in life it goes in cycles and I feel may go in the opposite direction. I presume all these apps we use to monitor our performance in different areas, when we submit this data I presume we are no longer the owner of the data? But thank you Jen for the video. Very interesting. So apparently there is a paranoia that comes through constantly checking biometric performance. basically along the premise of you have an expectation of a good nights sleep, good run performance etc. and when it falls beneath that, you are stressing yourself out over something you cannot control (involuntary). On your other question as to whether we own the data, take for example Garmin. This is their privacy policy, if you are interested: www.garmin.com/en-IE/privacy/global/policy/, they use the usual definition of personal data under GDPR, like all other tech companies and that definition notes that it is data personally identifiable to you. You will note that that definition does not mention ownership. In debates around data ownership, it is commonly accepted that data (at least in the EU) belongs to the data subject, and by submitting data to data controllers (who determine who data is processed), they are essentially data stewards of our personal data i.e. they process our data in line with privacy principles. Put simply, it is up to us whether we submit or remove data and in the mean time, we hope that big data companies will protect our data to the best of their abilities until we ask them to remove our data.
I am probably being cheeky but in your opinion do the Irish government have complete sovereignty over the citizens or is there any way we can oppose " for example" the recent opening of hotels etc for the immigration of non citizens into Ireland . I suppose what I'm trying to say is can we oppose the Irish government from forcing their policies onto its citizens... legally.
The Irish Government is made up of elected representatives by us, the people in line with democratic principles. Their agenda is our agenda. Make sure you vote!
Thanks for the industry insight. Most experts I've seen are quick to make the distinction between machine learning and actual A.I as these are often conflated. The latter of which is a good ways off. I can't help but think of that Simpsons clip about a world without lawyers though 😄
That is true. And I suppose that's where the IP piece comes in (see my other video on that). Pure AI is not really a thing for us as we are a largely detailed oriented service based on the clients specific need.

Thanks for this. Using your notes atm and property seems very straight forward in general and quite succinct other than landlord/tenancy. Hadn't looked at it since 2nd year of college but its coming back to me bit by bit. Gas to me that you'll have a curve ball question that someone as knowledgeable as you would be surprised by and then the rest of the paper will be a straightforward examination of aspects of the other sections and problem questions of other areas.
Thanks for being such a great source of info. I credit passing criminal to your notes and I've bought some others and I'm going to use them in getting ready for this next round. Your point about too much info is bang on, when there was a group of us studying for final year in college I said "you could write a book on this topic alone lads we need to pare it back". Not to the bare essentials necessarily but a good knowledge that can accurately answer a question which I think is what your ebooks provide.

does it make a difference if you just pass v achieve a decent grade when applying for the ppc? especially if you havent lots of contacts? do grades matter that much if youre in with the legal circle?
