I just want to say that I absolutely have loved watching all your videos. I don't hit the like button because I don't want that Playlist to fill up on my phone, but your videos are such an encouragement ☺ may God keep on blessing you.
The mental gymnastics of “well God wants me to have all I should have so I should be able to stop submitting to my husband whenever he falls behind emotionally or financially in the relationship”
I do have a liking for statement earrings (nothing too crazy), but majority of my jewelry is mainly simplistic. I prefer to balance my jewelry/makeup according to my OOTD
Aww. Thank you for checking up on me. I'm well and actually just finished editing a video. It should be up within the next week. I've just been super busy, but should be back to making videos regularly again. I miss making them. So, be on the look out for the new video ❤
I had the same experience. At first I was try to get a variety of femininity content because I still new to this. However I quickly realize at lot of these tips were ungodly. So I started looking for traditional and bible based femininity channels and found you and a few others. Thank you so much for sharing your unique approach to femininity
We definitely have got to be careful. With so much content pouring out about femininity, the enemy knows who and what to use to destroy others. I'm glad you took the time to watch my video 💕
I actually enjoy putting things to gether as well, its definitely feminine. To me it's like arts and craft. IKEA created a monster lol everyone in family knows how much I love it too. But the things I cant do like painting walls. Installing tiles, plumbing, repair cars, cutting grass, etc I hate doing lol.
I LOVE putting together dressers and small pieces of furniture. I agree with you about the bigger projects. No way will I want to do something that... 1. Gets me extremely dirty or 2. Makes me sweat too much. Thanks for watching ❤
I'd like you to know that I will NOT be going to hell for this, but thanks for the warning. You must have not even watched my video, but only saw the word "hypergamy". My video specifically speaks against taking advantage of men. So, I'm not sure what you're talking about, but thanks for the comment.
Ugh! I know. When I went to edit I was sad because I could barely hear myself. Thanks for letting me know. I'm going to make sure my mic is up next time for sure. 💕
Yes, repentance is important. Any time we do something that is displeasing to God or against the Word, we should repent for sure. I'm glad I could help. Thanks for watching!
I love the way you always encourage praying and seeking the Lord though His Word for things. And your transformation is a real testimony...we'd NEVER think you used to curse lol. That's what God can do! Thank you for sharing your testimony . Encouraging 😊
Yes, sister! If it wasn't for Him, I would probably still be the old me, but the Word says that we become new creatures. So, I encourage women looking to change to seek God first and study His Word. It was the only thing that worked for me. I appreciate your comment 💕💕😊
Sister, I appreciate your stated aim and you really look stunning. BUT I was waiting for you to state that you were being ironic...a modesty video with an extreme cleavage showing??? Genuinely confused. I know we're all on the journey. Just as a sister in Christ, just encouraging that this might be something to look into. Take care x
I appreciate the feedback. I was mainly speaking about wearing dresses with excessive cleavage and shorter dresses. The dress I'm wearing is still modest to most people. However, since making this video I have retired that dress and making a better effort at wearing something with zero cleavage. Much love to you, sis! Thank you for watching my video 💕
@@TonishaAmos really appreciate your graceful response. Please feel free to delete my comment as it was for you not necessarily for others. I am a new sub 😊. Look forward to your next videos. All the best on your RU-vid journey. Pray for me as I pray for you 🌹
Aww, you're welcome. I'm humble for sure and am willing to receive correction. I'm going to leave your comment up. I don't mind other women seeing it because it might be a blessing to someone in some way. I appreciate you keeping me in prayer as I will do the same for you. Thanks for subbing 💕
@@TonishaAmos I did feel that this dress is showing to much cleavage. This is odd considering the topic. This probably be something most men would be stumbled by. I appreciate though we are all on a journey and haven't all arrived yet. May the Lord bless you my sister!
1. All women are naturally hypergamous 2. A female's sexual market value peaks in her 20s. Afterwards, she has a less likelihood of attracting higher value man. 3. Sorry, hypergamy involves materialistic intentions. It's about getting as much as you can out of a man.
1. All women are not naturally hypergamous. Using the word "all" is incorrect because not all women desire to be married to a man. 2. Regardless of a women's sexual market, it depends on what a man is looking for. Not all men want to be with a 20 year old. 3. I agree, that some people are giving hypergamy a bad rap by teaching women to be gold diggers, but that is not the message that I am speaking about here. Which is the reason for this channel. I am providing a different way of looking at it in a non materialistic way. Thank you for watching my video!
@@euclidredpill7277 I'm not sure why you're saying this. I didn't mention anything about labels in my video. This is only a Godly perspective on hypergamy. Not the way everyone else is teaching.
@@TonishaAmos Men typically settle for less than what they desire, unless they are higher sexual market value. A woman in her 18-25, is typically desired, but a lot of men do not have the capability of getting a woman this peak market value, or they're not interested.
@@nordscan9043 Hypergamy is not greed. It's an effective mating strategy, especially for women. It helps them to have a better foundation for potential offspring, to raise a family, and to spend her time on her natural paternal instincts. However as a man, I have placed my focus on spiritual development, so I don't care about status, or resources, but what's necessary for spiritual growth
@Repent and Believe It happens all the time in church communities. It's only rare for women that aren't believing for a husband that can provide. God will provide all of your needs using your husband as a vessel.
@@nisha9160Sac Totally disagree it is rare for Christian women to find a Christian any man who is willing to wait for marriage before having sex. There are countless women 40+ still waiting and faithfully believing. I pray I don't become one, I want to honor God, but I don't want to be 60 and saying. I'm still waiting on the Lord. It's already been years for me and yes, I'm a virgin.
I don't know if Hypergamy is even Godly. It is basically women using men for money. I do appreciate your effort, but just as God sets people in the church as it pleases him, he pairs couples together in that same fashion. For Christian women, this looks as though they don't trust God with their unions... Also, hypergamy pushes this idea of men being the provider and leader, which is why a lot of men struggle with their personalities, so much. They think that this is all they have to do. I do agree with your overall points, though.
It is. Read the book of Ruth and meditate on it. People get confused between sugar daddy/sugar baby and hypergamy. I'm not teaching about manipulation. Boaz was a wealthy man and Ruth did what she needed to in order to catch his attention. This is no different.
God wants us to trust Him with putting together a union, but he also doesn't want us just sitting around either. Which is why Ruth took action. She didn't just sit around waiting for Boaz. I'm glad you agree with some of my points. I could go on and on, but I can say this...if women want to be with a man that can't provide and be the man the Word instructs him to be, then what type of man is that? Not one following God. So, if a man follows what the Word says, he'd be stronger than the woman, he'd be a provider, he'd cover his wife. Which is equivalent to hypergamy because he'd be a level higher than his spouse. EVERY woman should want that and probably secretly desires it.
@ Tonisha Armstrong You did the exact same thing that men do with the Bible. You took bits and pieces of scriptures scattered across the book to try to back up your opinion that doesn't really line up with the word. You know, there's a word for that...heresy. Let's discuss Ruth's story since you are so eager to bring that up. I have seen you use this against other people in the comment section, but that flimsy excuse will not hold water, here. I don't think that you paid enough attention to Ruth's story like you think you did, so here it goes. Ruth's story had nothing to do with wealth. It more so showed that God is the ultimate provider. The scriptures say that Ruth was travelling with her mother in law, Naomi who lost her sons, leaving Ruth as a widow. Ruth stayed by her side and obeyed her mother in law. They were scraping together leftovers in the field, before Boaz noticed her. Ruth had done nothing to gain his attention, he became aware of her, first and started asking others about her. Moving on. In Ruth 2:4 Boaz greets the harvesters with, "The Lord be with you!" This marks him as a follower of God. Boaz's favor grew for Ruth after he heard of her honorable past with her mother in law. At this time, Ruth is still doing nothing to gain attention. Even if you skip forward to Ruth chapter 3, you'll notice that the only one that is planning anything is Naomi. Wanna know what Ruth did? She only obeyed her mother in law. Now this part is downright laughable because Boaz himself takes out your perception of their story. Ruth 3:10-11 "The Lord bless you, my daughter," he replied. "This kindness is greater than that which you have showed earlier: You have not run after the younger men, whether rich or poor." "And now, my daughter, don't be afraid. I will do for you all you ask. All the people of my town know that you are a woman of noble character." She returns to Naomi and guess what her mother in law, says... "Wait, my daughter, until you find out what happens. For the man will not rest until the matter is settled today." She literally told her to wait. After Boaz talks to the guardian redeemer and ten elders of the town, he buys the estate and Ruth, along with it. They marry and have a child under God's approval and the child was named Obed, who was later the father of Jesse, who was the father of King David. This whole story was to secure David's bloodline, in which set the stage for Jesus Christ, himself. Literally, couples under God are joined by purpose, not status. Another woman to look at would be Esther with Xerxes, but then again, God did not put her there to be taken care of and spoiled. He put her there to save the Israelites from Haman, who planned on killing all the Jews. The same can be said about Zipporah and Moses, who went from an Egyptian Prince to the face of the Israelites' journey out of Egypt. Zipporah and her people helped him with that. The reasons for these legendary pairings is something that we should strive for. Purpose under God.
@Tonisha Armstrong Now let's keep going. Why would God want his children to care about status, when he said that he, himself doesn't care for it? Romans 2:11-12 "For there is no respect of persons with God." "For as many as have sinned without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;" So why am I to care, if I'm following God's steps? That doesn't make sense. I'm not saying to get with a bum, but I really do feel as though these hypergamy obsessed videos are so stuck on "provision" as if things have not changed in 2020. Perhaps these are the little girls that grew up without fathers? No idea. Either way, I'm pretty sure that God doesn't want his child to become solely dependent on another. There are too many verses that go against this hypergamy crap. Matthew 6:19-21 "Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on Earth. Where moth and dust can destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor dust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, your heart will be, also." Matthew 6:24 "No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money." Matthew 6:31-33 "Therefore do not be anxious, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' Fot the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly father knows that you need them all. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all of these things will be added to you." Exodus 20:1-3 "And God spoke these words, saying, "I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery. "You shall have no other gods before me." Keep in mind that anyone or anything can become a God. Including your spouse... Now about this man being more important than a woman, talk... 1 Peter 3:7 "Husbands, in the same way, live with your wives of their weaker (delicate) nature yet showing them honor as CO-HEIRS of the grace of life, so that your prayers will not be hindered." Sounds like a different, but equal type thing, to me. Men do one job, while women do another, even though this is not so much the case, anymore. If you want to be old fashioned and go for hypergamy, then by all means, do, but don't try to use the Bible to justify that worldly process.
@@nisha9160Sac Now, for that last part. I expect to be a partner to my spouse. I am not lower than him. He leads in some areas and I lead, as well. Why do I believe this way? Because my future husband is human and despite his knowledge that he will have, he will never know everything. Will he know better than me on how to raise a righteous and confident daughter? I doubt it. Will I know how to raise a righteous and confident son? Doubt it. As iron sharpens iron in the Christian community, I can only assume that it is the same with married couples under God. Even in marriage, my provider is God, who has joined me with this man. I will not be putting anyone on a pedestal with that "provider" and "leader" label. Technically, in a relationship, you are supposed to look out for each other. Isn't that the point of a union? Not just one covering the other. Hypergamy is basically women selling their beauty for a better life...the same as prostitutes, mail-order brides, and sugar babies. I don't sugarcoat anything, a spade is a spade.
I disagree. If that was the case, there would be no need for marriage. Also, the book of Ruth would not be included in the Bible. Not sure if you've read it before, but it highlights the fact that Boaz was a wealthy man. Ruth was blessed with him.
Nobody wants a gold digger and you wonder where all the good men have gone. You scared them away. Turn away from your sin and apologise to men for taking advantage of them!
Do you think WE Can find godly men outside church( while running errands for example) ? I'm on my level up journey and I stuggle being consistant because I feel it's useless as I only want to date (born again) christians which the majority of men aren't.
Yes. I honestly believe if you allow God to be in control, He can send a man to you no matter where you're at. I've watched some videos on RU-vid of women meeting Godly men outside of the church. So, it can happen 💕
@@johnkimani5889 women want financial and mental security. Of course everyone wants to be attracted to their spouse. Bossy men are most attractive. Simps are men who cannot or will not provide but want everything for free.
