I got a 2018 silverado, im running an lc2i and dont know which way is the correct way to run it, do you run it the same as an loc like in the video? And do you not need to tap into the remote turn on?
If running an lc2i . You can run both rear speaker signal to it or 1signal split into two. Lc2i has a signal sensing tech that will prpvide a remote turn on as slln as it picks up speaker signals
Hi, I know this is an older video but I need help. When I press and hold my remote start it just beeps and shows the key symbol but it’s flashing red. Then the blinkers in my car will go on and off a few times. Help?
@@FlipSideGarage crutchfield wanted me to wire up the green parking brake wire to the base of the parking brake but they say it should be a brown factory wire and I don’t have that. They said without doing it, head unit won’t full work. I capped it off and everything works fine. No rear camera so no need for that or the reverse wire either
Did you already replace the Vehicle Speed Sensor that connects to the trans?? I’m assuming that’s my problem finna fix it next week when part comes, it will cause the car to shift super hard to feel sluggish to shift as well as the blinking d4 and the Speedo not being accurate or sometimes just won’t work CEL too

@@FlipSideGarage FYI you can put this exact same format in your video's descriptions and it will appear as little breaks in the seek bar at the bottom of the video. How I do my videos is I put markers in my video when I edit it - then at the end I know the timestamps already
I bought a truck and it has idatastart system installed with remote starter, that ground wire you mentioned I have but it’s cut… I have no clue how the system is even powered and if that cord is the only things that’s causing it to not work. I have the remote and it doesn’t respond to the truck, also the antenna that’s attached to the windshield has no light indicator if it even is supposed to show one. Pleaseeee help if you can brother ❤
I have a 2005 Buick LeSabre Limited and followed exactly to a T, and it won't start. It won't even go into accessory mode 🤦♂️ Even of I unplug it it won't start. Compustar remote start with Blade AL.

I felt confident(lol) now not so much 😅 hope you can help with my issue I got the compustar CM900-AS (installing on 2010 tacoma no immobilizer) im a bit confuse with what wire to use on the starter anti-grind relay (engine lock relay as is label on the compustar box )
@FlipSideGarage nope I have buick dealer check it out. They say nothing wrong with my system. I told them I follow the procedure on your vedio. They say it's not correct way to program the key. I need the VIN to correctly program it
@@FlipSideGarage after much searching I found the black connector is from the stock navigation module. Apparently not needed to be connected to something like the t12.
Where did you get the head unit mine came with only one harness and it has 3 harness in the back in car my works but no sound did yours came with that harness with 3 plug and play
Bro I learned stick on a 98 integra gsr with a b20 crv engine swapped in it. I also just bought a 3rd gen TL with the 3.2 and im loving it so far! First J series I’ve experienced and I’m honestly impressed. Had no clue they sounded so good, just a Rv6 J pipe and muffler delete and mine sounds heavenly with very slight pops
So if you are installing a subwoofer and using your factory radio it will be installed using the wires like in your video through the sides and the factory radio doesn’t have to be removed at all right?
Really? You cant pull it from the top? If you really need to be showed how to have common sense. Probably best to put the tools down and leave the car alone. Literally showed what bolts to take out and literally slides from top.Did yoi really need me to show you to pull the part from top after u take the bolts out? Really?
Its still using a stock radio,on top of that 2 locs,worst part about it is that it still uses the stock bose speakers(which was wild to me). Ended up replacing the radio,4 kicker speakers,bypassed factory bose amp and kept the 4 channel just to power the 2 subs
Does this use the OEM microphone? If not, how is the sound with the microphone on this head unit? Ive heard a lot of complaints with the previous models as far as the new mics not being as good as the OEM…
This is excellent video. I thought installing to my car Prius C 2013, as I am not a mechanic, could you please let me know, the connections to the radio where the crux wires go? That will help me to install myself.

CTH radios seems to be a mixed bag. Holes need to be enlarged, the hazard wire is reversed, CTH admin seems to push blame on the users a lot. I like the design but in the end it’s a Chinese android radio.
I told the customer the same. After installed,his add on factory 3x lock remote start doesnt work. Radio interferes with the computer communication when trying to remote start. Of course,manufacturers blames the installer(me). Lmao I have over 15 years of MECP certificication in 12v industry,my background consistss also of buulding electrical panels for Boeing and the F35s,but I guess my background isnt good enough for a "plug and play".
