Brandon, I post triathlon videos also and have three boys ages 10, 7, 5. It's very hard to get help filming stuff. Legos is a way of life! 😆

@@mlegrand I use an older GoPro Hero 7 and feel the audio is a bit inconsistent, and wondering if newer versions have found a way to fix that, but otherwise I have fun and thank the camera does a great job at capturing what footage I need.

I'm only pushing around 330w for my Z5 efforts and race pace efforts are 230w. I will absolutely turn music volume down, thanks for the feedback.

Good to hear the knee is feeling a bit better. I'm hearing you with niggles, i think we both need to get some specific exercises done to help strengthen our bodies, glutes & hip flexors are what i need to concentrate on 👍🏃

The sugar is a nasty beast. After 3 weeks I'll begin eliminating condiments like bbq sauces, ketchup and high sugar salad dressings. Salads & vegetables are about to get much less interesting as if they weren't already. Stay focused & Good luck on the 8 pounds !

I still won't be able to train regularly, but it felt great to be swimming and I can't wait for the day when I can have a normal routine once again. I highly suggest doing some Thera-band exercises for lats and shoulders to keep the muscles firing.

I would like to share with those who are sick and tired of being sick and tired. I started with a beginner's meeting. Present were alcoholics with 4hrs sober up to 31yrs sober. I just listened. By the end of the meeting I knew I was in a safe place and surrounded by people that truly understood and could say "my name is Jodi and I'm an alcoholic".

Thanks for all your questions and comments Jolene. Honestly, I do not have a very strict nutrition plan in place at this time. However, I do a daily fast for a minimum of 12 hours. Once I've eaten I basically follow a high fat - med. protein - low carb diet throughout the day. I also do the majority of the low heart rate workouts in a fasted state.

I'm not triathlete. But I enjoy your journey. I would it more if you could explain the whole zone thing. If you could start your vlog with the date, then for new subscribers that don't know zones, you can refer them to a specific date that explains them. Maybe people that just need inspiration to change without being a triathlete would enjoy it. Inclusivity. Unless maybe this is just for athletes. If that's the case, nevermind

I'm not a doctor, but I believe the MAJORITY of adults fall in between 60-100bpm no matter the age. The Maffetone hr method would suggest you do your exercise below your Zone 2. You calculate this # bh taking 180 minus you age (180-?) Add 5 if you've been injury free for 2+ years or subtract if not. Stay Healthy!
