Thank you for this video. It was a great help, and you saved me a lot of money. I just managed to fix my blower motor, and it works!. The only problem I had was to remove the third screw which is blocked by the two white connector wires. It was quite a difficult task without suitable tools. How did you manage to get it out of your way? I see that you pulled both connectors down (1.55). I thought I would break it!! It was also tough to put the blower back because of these two connectors. My car is a 2011 Lexus CT 200h, and I had extra wires connected to the covering panel and I couldn't detach the wires. Thanks again!
Can the engine come out from the front of the car with a cherry picker? I am trying to remove the engine from an 03 crv that is in a yard under a tree and can't move. It also can not be lifted. I have torn it apart enough to have extra space, but I'm not sure that it'll come out from the front.
Yes I believe it is possible. I like dropping it. Even if you don't have a lift you can get one or two big Jack's and maybe a few block extensions and jack the car up very high. I've done that n the past.
Beautiful work, though it makes me want to buy a cheap new 4-2-1 header with similarity long primarys, even if it will probably need 'adjustments' to fit properly, & would need the rest done to justify it!
Interesting to see the previous work that has gone into it even if some can be done better now. I was lucky to buy seats with those more unusual & uniquely EG headrests, though admittedly will be retrimming the rest for the much more interesting JDM fabric colors & foam shaping.
The noise my car is making is more of an extremely high pitched squeal. It last about 30 sec, only happens when AC/heat is on, the cool/heat still work however very annoying. Nothing like the grumbling your having. Is it possible this is the precursor noise?
I don’t know why people don’t use painters tape on top of the ding, then put the glue tab on top of the painters tape, then pull with the dent puller. Then all you have to is pull the painters tape off instead of scraping off the glue like this gorilla did.
Hey man, thanks for this. I was able to fix it myself and save $300 in the process cause of you!!! Now quick question... should it instantly start cooling again or does that take time for it to work?
