Do you have to actuate the clutch for gear shifting in the xr or can you just use the throttle like with the other ebikes? i.e. Can I start moving from stand still by operating the throttle onl;y? How easy is the clutch pull? Is it as light as the Clake?
What a nice guy Matt is, was literally here on Saturday for a beginners day with my dad, we’ve got the bug now and are considering buying a bike to go pay and play. Nice to hear the Story of how Matt made it on his own and started his business from nothing. Definitely will be back to Inch Perfect and would recommend a day there to anyone.
Couldn't agree more. I bought my first bike from inch perfect around 7 or 8 years ago and matt and his team were extremely helpful and honest. Those EM bikes have improved since this video but the story of both rider and machines evolution are a great watch. Once this gasgas stops working I will 100% go back to inch perfect for another bike.
Just bought one from Inch Perfect. Had it 2 weeks. It is a strange bike to me, as i have only ever ridden road bikes. Want it for "Green Lanes". It behaves quite well on the road and can reach 50mph no problem, not really had the chance to go any faster yet. Pleased, I've bought it. It's a bike that needs time to get used to. The kick start is high, and the gear shifter is a long way from my foot. Practise is all that's needed. Lovely build quality too.😊
@@InchPerfectTrialsIPTsounds good to me, I’ll be sure to ask the others in the group. Though I won’t be filming everyone’s day, just the things I will be doing so hopefully they won’t feel I’m being too intrusive. Just booked on for the 11th of May, really looking forward to our day.
I believe trials may be one of the best suited applications for electrification, at club level anyway. I certainly don't believe it is the future for cars. Need to get an experience day booked and give one a go!
Exceptional film and documentary. 😀 Thanks for all the hard work riding, filming, and editing. Killed it! Wow, top notch. Loved the drone stuff too. Great to see the landscape. Oh, and I'll be getting my 1st EM in a couple weeks. 😊
Matt, thanks for such a great video. I am now 61 and haven't ridden a trials bike since I was 19, when I bought one of the first Fantic 200s. I was in the Army and we serviced riders in the SSDT, 1980, the year Yrjo Vesterinen won. Such great memories of such an awesome event. Keep well Doug
I went a few weeks ago with my brother on an Intermediate course, Sarah was a great instructor and took us round for the day from going over basic bike control to riding over logs, up, round and own streams. If you like riding bikes, you'll have an amazing day which ever course you go on.
