I play dota2 fulltime and I try to provide some fun and educational content on my stream and youtube! Follow me on twitter or facebook and you'll know what I'm up to :)
Mr Streamer man, on the off chance that you see this could you please settle a debate I've been having with a friend? What're your thoughts on Windrunner Agh's Scepter and when to buy it? Been trying to explain to him that it only really adds niche reduction to unavoidable physical damage during windrun (outside of the invis) and not really a whole lot of damage.
For the end analysis: you could also argue that DK may reduce your base damage with Q, which will not affect MKB, but will affect the overall damage of Daedalus. Its a case by case situation I'd say.
all the testing at the end is still also in a solo situation, you add in the solar crest and the omni ult and whatever else and suddenly the equivalent time to kill could skew pretty dramatically
why you buy parasma instead bloodthorn? its good againts riki smoke, qop? and i dunno, it is your another smurf account waga? that magnus and pudge play so bad.
Waga, genuinely thank you for showing your deaths, in the exact same place, doing the exact same thing, 3 times in a row. It would be real easy to just cut those out, but it makes me feel a whole lot better about my own play, you rock
If you tp'ed straight into fight around 21:00 after buyback your team would've won the fight. You wasted a lot of time waiting and walking to the fight instead of tp-ing directly. No hate, just saying for future, you often think too strategically which wastes time during these cruical moments.
Finally a game that shows waga is human and can make mistakes in builds. (Idk why he didn't just check top core guides though, is he against them? Or is it nore fun like that?)
Love seeing him call himself out on a bad game. It makes a player better, not worse, when they can recognize and admit that they played poorly. And it makes it that much cooler when they dumpster people in other games. Good on Waga. And re: the build, he definitely does check build stats frequently, and he does copy players with more experience on a given hero in the current meta, but he also likes doing his own experiments. I'm guessing he just felt like having some fun with NP and seeing what the hero felt like, rather than the hero with a specific meta build.
Also 5:40, 11:54, 15:24, 15:45... 10:50 was clutch though. I get that just because primal has a counter to sprout doesn't mean you should never sprout him, it still forces out trample, and if he doesn't have it, it can trap him; plus it does damage. Just funny to watch primal erase sprout over and over again this game.
i was thinking that blade mail was bad this game and you shouldve gone blink instead (so you can also push lanes safer) but then at one point you were fighting sniper and he didnt want to hit your blade mail so that alone made it worth but maybe not as first item upgrade . also the tree damage passive is insane , i was looking at your damage throughout the game and if you sit in trees it is alllooot of extra damage
To waga's point, blink being good against primal doesn't excuse how shit it is against QoP, Sniper, Riki, and Venge, all of whom can cancel it consistently, with varying degrees of ease. No damage or tankiness, only mobility, and against a team that almost feels designed to counter it with QoP Blink, Shadow Strike, Shrapnel, Assassinate, Invis, Wave of Terror, and Swap. It's a late, late, late-game purchase if anything, and there are likely better options.
As a purely theory crafter, wouldn't ES slap cheeks with Khanda? Supposedly with Aghs Enchant Totem becomes both a Target Unit and Target Area ability and Khanda should work with abilities that are Target Unit. My guess is that the wiki I am using as source is wrong about Aghs making Enchant Totem count as a Target Unit ability though, would be too much fun otherwise. The concept should work with melee Lion though, right?
Starting from turn 23, Kh1, checkmate can be guaranteed by turn 27 by sacrificing the bishop. I've been playing too many games where you have to checkmate on a strict turn timer, I'm suffering...
its funny read butthurt comments from fanboy Mr. TI winner. how much they got pay from him? bulldog actually smurfing and tryhard and yelling his team the whole game and even kicking if someone on his stack play too bad.
Lets face it..TI was a huge disappointment. The road to TI format is shit, games were 1 sided and shit, the arena was too big and/or disengaged from whats on stage-shit, the players entered through the back and exited through the back making it hard for audience to see them-shit, the crowd was shit-but why should they be hype when players dont care about TI for shit prizepool, Kacy wasnt there and we got fucking Nomad for 2weeks-shit, no Dota legends flown in for the panel-shit. Remember when players showed emotion? Good times. More emotion at a fucking funeral than showed at TI. The best thing was Liquid lifting trophy...shame it was garbage prize pool. Bring back longer group stage, Higher prize pool, Make sure meta is wide ranging for TI, Make arena more intimate, Get rid of road to TI, Make sure everyone plays in front of crowd.
I love the bracer-wand-soul ring-treads-manta-khanda build in this patch. You get a ton of stats, attack speed, it boosts your farm, you get a nice ranged poke and crits from khanda to scale the dmg some more. It's a much more "stable" build for me. Mana is a bit of an issue but with tread switching and a wand (jungle creeps add charges to it too so it's imba on brood) it's manageable With orchid (esp if you buy it before treads even) you have a very low hp pool and you're trying to kill heroes with triple bracers. It works well in a pick off scenario, but nowadays people save tp and group up early a lot and with wb and orchid you're too easy to nuke down That's my personal experience Wagas build here is interesting. I though going khanda-harpoon is bullshit cuz you have zero attack speed, but the burst potential with double attack and khanda nuke actually looked impressive. I refuse to go mana boots instead of soul ring-treads though, I don't buy it, treads is too much of a boost, especially if you switch it to str for fights and int for webs/nukes during farming, and +25AS is a lot at the start
