Yes knocked out Terry Bradshaw as he was throwing the game winning TD to defeat the Cowboys in SB X. Which of course Bradshaw beat the Cowboys yet again in SB XIII . Now obviously I'm a Steeler fan for over 50 yrs but still I'm a football fan also. There are some Cowboy players whom I think NEVER got enough credit by their NFL peers. My first is DD Lewis he also played from 69-81. Unreal the he never made a Pro Bowl , just criminal. Was 6'1 about 215 and was a relentless player. Larry Cole is also someone whom should have gone to at least 3-4 Pro Bowls, a true warrior out there. Jethro Pugh played 13 yrs , 5 straight Pro Bowls 96.5 sacks and not in HOF ridiculous. Lee Roy Jordan, this one shocks me 5 time Pro Bowler, 2 time All Pro and 32 INTS and still not in HOF. How is that even possible. There are others but those 60s-70s Cowboy teams are legendary and took my Steelers to the final seconds of those Super Bowls during the 70s.
This is awesome thank you I was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland this is the 1st Qb I idolized as a child the Baltimore Colt was the first Pro football team I loved now it’s the Baltimore Ravens
In 1981 I was in the pitcher in the Cardinal organization and when MLB struck Whitey visited us a couple times and I can attest he worked well with young players.
What a great Cowboy! His name brings back great memories, he's one of the reasons Dallas had several highly productive running backs during the late 60's and early 70's.
Tony Pruitt _ You have caught the great Mary Ellen in her famous Peter Pan going to check out if Curt is really alive or dead outfit from The Waltons in your opening introduction. BRAVO. off to a good start.
Loved The Walton's. Will Gear was a socialist which was not so surprising since many of his colleague actors got blacklisted in the late 40s and 50's. He decided to become more patriotic by the time The Walton's offered him the role.
Jody Conradt is a true Longhorn Legend and someone I love to read about. She impacted change for so many women in sports. Her wonderful energy, knowledge and spirt shine in this interview. I was a student at UT during her National title run and have followed Lady Longhorn women's basketball since that time. Having grown up in Austin, and received several degrees from UT, I have been in New York City for the past 25 years but still watch pretty much every single game.
THIS IS A GREAT INTERVIEW MARC DOES A WONDERFUL JOB AND EXPLAINS THINGS THAT I ALWAYS WANTED ASKED BUT MOST SHOWS ON HERE DO NOT ANSWER. THE HOST HERE GIVES MARC PLENTY OF TIME TO ANSWER AND THAT MEANS SO MUCH. I WISH THE HOST DID 2 HOURS ON THIS AND WOULD LOVE TO SEE MARC RETURN HERE FOR MORE MAYBE EVEN A REGULAR LIKE CORNETTE OTHERS DO.
The first concert I ever went to in high school was Boston with Sammy Hagar, opening up for them. Awesome show. Boston has always been one of my favorite bands. I was born in that city. I lived in the same town that Brad Delp was raised in. It was a very sad day when Brad took his life. One of those kind souls that never let the fame get to his head. Iwas hoping to knock on his door and ask him to autograph my cassettes and CD's when he had relocated just within a mile of my relatives in New Hampshire One of the greatest front men voices in all of rock history. I hope he has been rocking it in heaven all these years...
Amazing how Pat Boone tries so hard to make himself look like he was the Superstar and Elvis was a Greaser from the other side of the tracks . Even more amazing is the fact how many millions of fans followed and adored Elvis way back when and even yet today he is just as famous in death . Pat was a 1950's star . Elvis was a 50's , 60's and 70's legendary SUPERSTAR . Not only in life but in death as well .
Gary Hart was part of the Eddie Graham booking tree that included Dusty Rhodes and Kevin Sullivan. Too bad he left right after the angle where the Freebirds turned on the Von Erichs. I would have loved to see how differently he would have booked the feud had he stayed.
So happy to have come across this interview. Thank you!!Coach Snyder is ALL KState has become. He truly is an extraordinary human being. I will be forever grateful to him!!! 💜
