For the beak 1st row - 1half double crochet (i. e 6hdc) 2nd row - 1hdc in each loop.(i. e 6hdc) 3rd row - start with 2 ch & skip 1 loop & at the end of the row 2 hdc together (i. e 4hdc). 4th row - 1hdc in each loop (i.e 4hdc). 3rd & 4th row decrease 1hdc at start & 1hdc at the end to give tapered shape.
