oh my gosh this recording was excellent -- normally indian classical music stage recordings are lacklustre do not do justice to the sound of sitar -- BUT WHOEVER DID THIS, YOU HAVE used top quality recording tech or something to give it this resonance ! THANK YOU !!
I posted on my FB page this: START at 30:18 to end if you have little patience from beginning of video -- the true musical improvisation "genius" of this lady Anupama - GOD given I have heard many sitar masters old and new but this is only HOLY SPIRIT -- each time I listen to newer sections it is astounding how she continues on the improv for over an hour ! Every couple of weeks I listen to this recording/video 2012 performance of Raga Behag IMCOMPARABLE Anupama's improvisation - HOLY SPIRIT that night with her as well as Subhajyoti, whom I communicated with in 2020 and he agreed as to that special "jugalbandi" vibration of very high level that performance. Anupama Bhagwat on sitar, and Subhajyoti Guha on tabla, performing Raag Behag at the Amado Recital Hall in the Irvine Auditorium at the University Of Pennsylvania.
