Sounds good to me... I am looking at and listening to a set of 4311Bs this weekend, but I am having difficulty nailing down a fair market value for a nice set. Asking prices are through the roof, but their actual value seems to be much less.
@@kevinyoungM14EBR I’ve read some reddit discussions from people in the US who apparently found offers for around 400 USD but nowadays this seems to be very rare, especially in europe. Some sellers, specifically on ebay, offer them for over 1200 now. Realistically Based on that I would imagine 500-700 for a pair would seem pretty good?
@@kevinyoungM14EBR ok I did some research. I came across some people on reddit who apparently saw offers as low as 400 USD but they tend to be cheaper in the US. In europe they are generally a little more expensive, especially now. There are some offers on ebay for 1000€+. I think in europe for a pair in good condition 600-700€ would be considered fair.
Fabulous sound, and a beautiful classic system. The receiver looks familiar, but I can't quite place it? Pioneer? I know it's not Marantz because of the tuning knob. And it doesn't look like Sansui of the period. But I'm happy to be proven wrong...
Your question intrigued me and turns out there is another video Mr Shevlin posted that shows the Marantz 2600 playing on top shelve and the dark face system is Kenwood as far as I can tell. Think the Kenwood is playing on this one. Both are very old school 70s gems 💎 😊
Yes but not totally necessary because they have front port and can accommodate the wall a bit better. I specifically get a front ported bookshelves for my work room to accommodate the wall. Those in the mancave, I have them out 1.5 to 2’ to accommodate the rear port
