My ZR2 Desert Boss 3" lift with 2" Level Up front 1" back and 35x12.5x17 is bad ass....All of Moab done . 5000 miles in one shot. East Coast wheeling next. That trucks a beast @ barryguffey8061. See what it can do. 12 off road adventures and counting.
I hope they fixed the damn sorry ass paint problem they've had for years with paint on the hood and around the windows cracking and busting off and they wouldn't do crap about it and it was under warranty when you pay this much for a damn vehicle you shouldn't have to worry about paint ridiculous!!!!
@@KickingTires, please do. I can throw $20k at one right now with any difference being covered by a bank loan. I just need to find one I want. (I'll need to ship it to Indiana, too.)
I love it! I would get the normal length rather than this xl, but do this work to the normal length and I want one. Beautiful job! A question: What if anything happens to the magnetic ride control and adjustable air ride suspension when you lift it from stock like this? Do they still work? Just as well? Do they now work just at a few inches higher of the ground, but the same range and such? Other? Thanks. I'd love a regular length Yukon AT4 or even a Denali lifted like this, ideally with larger 35" tires, a small amount of poke like here. For some people this would be a secondary issue and no big deal, but I wouldn't want to lose the magnetic ride control and adjustable air ride suspension, especially their full capabilities. I'd really welcome your thoughts?
I'm not expert, but this one was ordered without the adjustable air suspension and the magnetic ride control might not be functional anymore. I'm not sure. Still rides good lifted, but stock is a smoother ride.
@@KickingTires Thanks for the reply. That is an issue that concerns me. I suspect plenty will love this lifted without those features, but personally, those features are important to me. So I'll continue to try to educate myself about if and how those features are affected. Good stuff though. Thanks.
I still have my 2013 reg cab short box 5.3 4x4 Silverado . Its been a great truck. I want a new one but I'm sad to say I cannot upgrade or downgrade to the new barbie 4 cylinder that sounds like a hairdryer and with 10 less HP. What a serious lunch-bag let down. Must be a new woke team of designers now? I'll keep the old one, thanks.
Chevy thinks everyone is carrying around the wife, kids and family dog in their truck. I just want to-hit the highway with the tunes rocking in a single cab. That’s a real head turner
Rare ?💀 idk which part y’all are from but here in houston a new hub they just opened of autozones in some area and they have about 10 or 15 of these delivery trucks with the same short bed 4wd silverados the only difference would be that they have hard toppers on the bed on all of them
Excellent review. You actually covered everything, except the MSRP which people like to know. Show the sticker. Affordability is the key for most people.
It looks great. Like a custom trail boss regular cab . They should make this on limited production as a trail boss. Would bring in money. I don’t know why they don’t? 🤷🏻

I like the truck and it's definitely head and shoulders better than any of the competition . The 450 mile driving range will sell a lot of these trucks , plus it's the best looking work truck I've ever seen . But I do have one negative comment and that is why not offer the mid gate to the vehicle that needs it the most . Come on Chevrolet , this is your work truck and your engineers didn't think that the mid gate would be beneficial . I could easily understand the mid gate as an option for non commercial use , because it will not be needed every day. But as a job site "go getter" it'll be used at least 90% more . But Geaux Chevrolet , it's an in the park home run . So it had to run hard rounding the bases to get to home plate , but that's cool because it's a work truck and the microphone is on the floor 🎤
bronze metallic , i really like it , I thought the gas milage would be slightly better and Im going easy , soon as it gets nicer out im swiping out all fluids to thiner weight Amsoil , tranny diffs to boot . @@KickingTires
This configuration w a V- 8 would be flying out the dealership doors but Chevrolet thinks you want a 4 door pig which is compromised by AFM , which is giving people fits. Oh and furthermore, no one’s buying new truck’s right now because they’re ridiculously priced and the economy sucks. Gee, I wonder if orange man will win for the third time and actually be prez this time. Ya think? Lol
