Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation is the only UK lung cancer charity dedicated to helping everyone affected by the disease.
Since 1990, when the charity was set up by Professor Ray Donnelly, we have funded millions of pounds of essential lung cancer research, looking for ways to detect the disease as early as possible and save lives.
We support everyone affected by lung cancer - from diagnosis, through treatment, living with the disease and end of life care. We raise awareness, prevent future generations from getting it and challenge the misconceptions of lung cancer. We do all this so those diagnosed can live well with lung cancer for as long as possible.
been smokin weed pens for 2 years, got paranoid because i couldnt take a deep breath so im lookin for motivation to quit and any possible symptoms anyone else had to base them on my own to see if i have cancer lmfao
Going through this right now. Woke up one day with shoulder pain went to work and it progressively got worse. The next day I had to call out and went to the urgent care where they did some x-rays on my shoulder but couldn't find anything wrong. So i was sent to a spine specialist and they couldn't find anything so he sent me for an MRI and am waiting for the results hopefully today. But they have just thrown medications at me i am on 6 different medications and nothing has changed. I haven't slept in 2 days and haven't been able to go to work in almost a month now and still in excruciating pain.
What type of lung cancer did he have. None small cell or the small cell type? A non smoker. Why was his condition not given priority focus. A lot of questions more than answers. May this good talented man Rest In Peace.
Wait a minute ! Nick had a CT-Scan and the radiologist did not pick up on the.lung cancer ? Nick should have gone to the ER when the shoulder pain got so bad he was in tears . No one is too young or because they didn't smoke to have lung cancer . If you have lungs , you can have have lung cancer . It's a shame that Nick was not taken serious earlier . Physicians are supposed to suspect the worse until proven otherwise, when patients come to them with acute symptoms that are new and unlike what the patient has experienced before . They should write the patient off with something minor or with a psychological problem. Simply unbelievable.
Good at the beginning but come on 3:59 . Water no tea etc etc sounds like brainwashing to me. Too late after forty years smoking. What's the point you still gonna die
Praying for ❤you Jules, my wife was diagnosed same time but passed 9 months ago, I think it was the Covid Vaccine that started the lung cancer. Thinking and praying for you and your family ❤️❤️❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
❤❤❤ my wife was diagnosed the same time and passed away July 2023 … she never smoked she had no pain , she was a nurse and wouldn’t get her cough checked saying it was a side effect from blood pressure tablets, but it was lung can symptom
Really awesome attitude n vibe. I applaud you. Thank u for sharing been fighting this aggressive lymphoma almost two years. I will add you to my prayers. Stay strong keep that beautiful smile🌺♥️🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻♥️🌺♥️
Would have liked to hear about what treatments were used and more details. From reading further on it appears Nick passed away. My condolences to his family.
Wonder if she got the Covid vaccine? Seems like a lot of people are getting cancer lately, rare cancers…quick spreading cancers. Prayers for her healing. Stop getting those shots, people!
May he rest in peace. ❤ Going through this now.. My shoulder pain is excruciating, so bad that I can't sleep at night. I've developed a clavicular swelling above my left collarbone on the same side as my excruciating shoulder and arm pain that spreads down my arm to my fingers. I've developed a cough , and breathing in is excruciating. I've already just had sn endoscopy and found that I have several ulcers in my stomach with inflammation. Waiting on the biopsy results of the ulcers and my stomach. I'm definitely pushing for an MRI , etc and definitely a biopsy of my superclaviicular lymphnode at my gp appointment in a few weeks.I can't stand the pain anymore. Advocating for yourself is something you have to do.
Everyone talks about how great health care is in Europe. To me it seems like they give everyone meds and downplay the issue to push them through the system. Then when the pain doesn't go away they have to wait to get appiontments, by that time the illness has spread.
