Hi! I have a landlord in CO Springs, CO. But I can't figure out how to find someone who does this in the area... how do you guys market? How do I find someone or a few people to put him in contact with?
I just had a guest drop a ton of oil stains on the driveway from their car. What do I do about that? Especially when I don’t really know how to price the damage.
You mentioned that with the ecobee you can shut down the system between reservations. Would you be open to telling me which feature you are using for this? I am struggling to nail down which feature works best for this.
We run 51 properties and we are beginning to swap to ecobee. From what I've researched it looks like the account limit is 16 devices. Has anyone found this to be different? Would love a system that doesn't cap me but have been unsuccessful finding one.
They're banned here by the city. Complaints were noise, parties, and garbage strewn by guests. Absent hosts were complained about the most. Not so much renting out rooms in host occupied houses. It's a residential family oriented area and not a vacation destination. I was an Airbnb guest myself at twenty or more places in LA and that was an experience. Some good, some bad.

I was a home super owner on airbnb for about 3 years, he constantly renews the policies and puts the rules he wants in each policy, I respect that, but since I did not access my own account for a while, I had to open a spare account and when he realized that there were 2 accounts, he blocked 2 accounts and closed them without sending a warning. , extrajudicial executions! There is no such rule anywhere in the world.

How do you respond to guests who on check-out day, they give you a list of things that went wrong during their stay but never mentioned it during their stay?

Airbnb air covers up to $3 million, they stated it’s for personal injury, and property damage. The issues is not so much when you have a guest staying there, it’s actually more when the house is vacant and there’s no guest staying there. Because with no guest staying there, there is no air cover.
Short term rental insurance is more than double standard rental homeowners insurance. Expect to pay around $1900, versus seven to $800 for single-family residence, that would be a three bedroom or a four bedroom house in California

Just got 2 airbnb in philippines fully booked decent profits but this is definitely something you need to scale to see enough profits. Each property i profits around 150 - 200 Usd (great income in the Philippines) . So happy i found this channel and i subscribe immediately. My biggest challenge is feeling trust with cleaners, them not trying so milk my pockets and managing this stuff from Usa
