Great video Grace. I bought my 720 last November and love her. I’ve been doing some quilting recently and am wondering if there is a trick I’ve missed with starting off sewing my blocks without using a leader. Or maybe that is the correct way to start. Have been thinking about getting Pfaff 710 for a little while (still saving, but very close), and this video has been just what I’ve needed! Great information and so nicely done, just wondering how much I would miss a manual foot lift?🤔😊

I'm a new to intermediate sewist. I'm thinking about purchasing this machine. I want to learn embroidery and this looks like a good starter. It's a bonus that I will be able to learn to sew clothing too!! And even better, this machine is purple!!!!!!!

Thank you so much for this tutorial. I just ordered this machine. I was looking at the Bernina L860. I have the L890 but I just wanted a four thread serger with that air threading and a free arm. I couldn’t justify the price of the L860. I love the baby lock sergers but none of them have a free arm yet.
This will be a game changer for ruler quilting, which I cannot do with the BSR attachment right now. Thank you for this innovation! For me, this is the main reason for getting this machine, to use with all my rulers.
This guide is a 'must have' accessory, imho! I bought mine back when I purchased a CP1000, and still using it on a CP2000, it makes hemming so much faster, easier and with a much neater reverse side (as long as you position your garment/etc with the left needle just at/on the cut edge of the fabric...as you mentioned. Initially it just takes a few minutes to practice, but after that it is so much easier and I highly recommend this guide.
I have followed your advice but the although the file shows on the usb it still doesn’t show on the machine (Janome550e) is there anything else I can try? Thanks
I am so impressed by you and this video and can’t wait to watch the rest in the series. Your explanations are clear and concise allowing me to follow along. I had a Bernina 930 that finally gave up on me after serving me faithfully for over 40 years. I just bought the 335 and am trying to master all the little features. Thank you for your wonderful clear instructions!
Why do they waste $1000 and still include a BSR foot? They said they give the BSR for use with the straight stitch plate. Why isn't there also a window for the integrated BSR on the straight stitch plate instead?
Thanks for this demo!! WOW!! The auto-captioning is a catastrophe - far too many wrong words to be of any use, but users cannot switch it off - maybe simply get rid of it for this particular RU-vid video? It's a shame to pair that with the visual perfection of the Bernina 990.
Most of us are thankful they were there to read, it was noisy in that room and it was hard to hear. We were able to understand the mistaken words just fine.
I bought one several months ago but have never got you use yet. Taking care of my sister with dementia and never fails when I’m about to try something she needs something. Is there places in the Henderson Ky or Evansville Indiana that give classes
Really nice to see the integrated bsr in action. Was curious how this works. Looks like a reverse mouse cursor haha. Btw the subtitles in the video are wrong especially in the beginning, words are incorrectly translated, it looks like some auto translation tool just failed, which is a bit annoying as yoy cant turn them off.
This is absolutely amazing. With BSR built in with 3 stages of stitching it’s seems like there’s nothing else they need to improve on. Mmmmmm in my dreams I’ll be seeing this machine ❤❤
