I 100% agree with your opinion on Camaro visibility. Once you live with the car for a little while, you get used to it and it seems natural. If you properly adjust your mirrors and PAY ATTENTION when you’re driving, it’s not a problem. And my car is a 1LT. I am completely comfortable and have no anxiety when driving.
This removed my fears of the whole engine talks. It does seem that most of that talk comes from the car community who likes to "race" and mod. As someone whos just looking for a daily and only upgrade it exterior wise to make it look cool It seems I dont have to worry as long as I do the basic maintenance needed Ive been between this and the GR86/BRZ but this subi across the years has been what I wanted since a kid. Im working up to have this be my first NEW car
My 18 Ram with bottom of line Ram system sounds ten times better than my 23 challenger with the alpine system, the Ram has way more bass, more volume and better quality audio, I can’t say anything good about the alpine system
Sorry to hear all that. With lower miles you’d expect no problems. If you need a guide for the fuel pump and things I have a full playlist. You never know when it’s other things like a short in a wire. I’d also watch my boost a pump video to see if the wiring near the fuel pump driver module is all ok or ever been messed with. I also just corrected the same a pillar rust issue and have videos on removing the trim: Mustang Maintenance and repair ru-vid.com/group/PLIjr-uSYDZi7hBrphoRniyYjb707PpPTu
Wow, that is a rough 44k miles. I don't mean to fan the flame but I don't think that smoke is from running rich, it has a bluish tint and hangs around a bit. I had that exact issue with mine and it was number 8 valve guide (very common issue). I would get a rough idle from incomplete combustion once oil built up in the cylinder.
Sorry to hear about all the problems with the car, Austin; that really sucks. If nothing else, hopefully it'll make good content for your channel. I know I'll be sticking around to see what happens!
I know I'm years behind from this video, but thus was the best one I've seen for an install on the video. Do you have any recommendations for 2 12's with the same install/function as the single sub? Great video
I think you're the only person on earth who doesn't like black detailing. If it's showing scratches I'd put that down to the quality of the finish more than the colour of it.
Thank you for the honest review. This car along the Hyundai Elantra N (Called the i30N sedan here in Australia) are on the top of my list for my next car to own. Im still trying to find more information about the i30n and elantra n cars on what they are like to own after a few years before I make a decision.
The correct answer is neither. The best one is the 392 6.2 SRT hemi with forged piston upgrade, 426 stroker kit, and super charged. Just cranking it up and giving it a little bit of throttle makes a neighbors Tesla catch on fire.
the vb has a better engine and the sti has a better transmission. the vb has a stiffer chassis. the looks of the vb grow on you, especially after some exterior mods.
GR corolla looks like a fun platform but i just cant get over the nasty uber-like interior of it. They just dont do a good job at all, and nothing special about it either. I was just driving out of a doc appt with a hyundai dealer next door, and was really tempted to stop for a text drive but im not planning on buying yet and dont want to poison my mind 😂 but would love to test drive both dct and 6mt back and forth. I really like the ethos albert biermann has instilled in the engineering AND N brand. It’s at the AMG and M level, with driving academies and own social and website presence. VW is trying to do the same with R but they are a bit behind and the way they’ve neglected little fun things like exhaust sound and no manual transmission, just feels like they don’t get it. Would love to hear to comparison of the 6mt vs dct and your other manual cars.
I need to drive the manual Elantra N but the DCT was great in it. I thought the same on the Corolla until I sat in it and my viewpoint changed on the interior
I did the same thing and purchased my GR Corolla in a similar fashion. I sit on the fence with the feeling as well. You're not alone haha. Thanks for sharing.
I like the WRX aesthetic, it was always a quirky car, that is part of the charm, and as you said the plastic can give peace of mind in terms of ownership over time.
Thank you for your channel. Picking up my 2024 Golf R manual today. Called around for the last month and there are "still" markups mostly for the manual transmission and Blue Lapiz color. Found one dealer in PA about 200 miles away selling for MSRP (white) no gimmicks and offered a decent deal for my old trade in. I will probably post again once I have had the chance to drive it for a while 😊
Great video. I'm considering to buy a hatchback and looking at Golf, BMW (120/m135) and Audi (S3).... From what i can see atleast on paper and videos i watched Gold is the best price wise and also comfort and performance. I'm however a bit torn between Gold Clubsport and R. I sort of hate capacitive button which they have in the latest R. Clubsport has regular buttons. Thoughts on this? also other brands if you had to choose for a new model?
There's a reason Car and Driver Lightning Lap 2023 rated VB WRX so poorly and VB recorded the slowest ever lap, that in 2024 Subaru recommended they don't run the VB WRX and instead to use BRZ and Airslayer. when I found out VB WRX uses front open diff and rear open diff with brakepad torque vectoring straight from the Forester and Ascent SUV, it all made sense, and why they're so different than performance AWD like the EVO, STI, GTR, that run front LSD, center (SAYC, DCCD, ATESSA), and rear LSD. So glad sold the VB, now running Civic Type-R and it is 100x better than VB.
@@Gonin60 for reals, only other Honda I wanted was NSX, pre-covid I found a few under 100k miles for $35-40k but was waiting for them to hit $30k, now post-covid they are near $100k.
When did you get a golf r? Lmao, I subscribe to you three cars ago, look at you man, looking good with that R... I'm guessing you sold it already or are going to sell it.
I think GM had their thumbs up their butts when building Camaros why all the damn issues and GM don’t give a damn about them, what a disgrace to GM I won’t buy Chevy because they probably are doing the same with other models as well!! go back in how they build cars in 68,69 and just put a better suspension on them without all this so-called technology crap that doesn’t work and then the owner has to cough up a lot of money to get these problems fixed when GM should be fixing it for free
