Fickell is a very well spoken, well rounded coach in every aspect. Love having him at the helm as a Badger fan. Looking forward to seeing what this team brings in year two.
Anyone who knows football can clearly see Tayven Jackson is the most talented quarterback. Jackson throws the best ball, the most accurate ball and he goes through his reads and progressions the fastest and best. He is the most accurate and throws the most prettiest ball. I know Rourke was a former MAC player of the year and has the most experience, but he is not the best option at quarterback. Jackson is the most talented and gives this team the best chance to win on the football field. Jackson also gives them the highest ceiling! Rourke is a good backup at this level in the big ten, but he should not be the starter. Jackson was by far the best quarterback. Rourke easily could have and should have thrown about 4 or 5 interceptions in this game. Jackson was sharp, accurate, confident, decisive and threw the best deep ball, intermediate ball and short ball! Jackson made one fatal mistake in this game and he needs to learn from it! I know Cignetti is a good football coach, but I hope he doesn't let his stubbornness, or ego blind him from seeing the truth and hurting his football team. There needs to be a competition and some quarterback controversy going into the season for IU! May the best man win the job! Both Jackson and Cherry have bright futures ahead of them, even if they don't win a starting job this year. They need to keep developing, learning and getting better. Keep learning the system and keep improving for next year, even if they don't start this year, they need to be ready to come in, especially if there were an injury. you just never know, but Jackson and Cherry both have a lot of talent. They just need to continue to mature and develop their games!
Yes, he has 87 wins at Rutgers, but also 95 loses. I have to give him credit, though, how this unemployed conman managed to get his job back after the way he slithered away is amazing.
100 years ago Ohio built a stadium for 65k fans. 100 years ago Michigan built a stadium that was future proof with pillars and the foundation capable of 150k fans. Michigan > Ohio
What is it with michigan and hundreds of years ago....these slimeballs cheated the whole nation out of an honorable sport and wanna lecture anyone about history? Go back to stealing catalytic converters Marcel
No, he's very much aware of the position he's in and acknowledges it. After all, he was a big part of how they got to this point. We're all still waiting for ohio to hang 100 like Day said in 2020. You're not even on pace to do it in the 4 combined games since.
I'd rather have this guy than a weird milk man who had to cheat to finally win and then left the program in shambles with a coach born stealing home plate... by far.
In shambles? Haha the program is stronger than it's been in 2 decades. Clown. Only people still talking about "cheating" are ohio fans. Going to be great watching your heads explode when their punishment is little more than a fine and probation. Even the NCAA president said "no one believes at this point that Michigan didn't win the national title fair and square." But I guess he didn't realize just how delusional ohio fans are or how bad they need to make excuses for losing
No you wouldn’t and you’re lying to yourself. Harbaugh has been to a Super Bowl, turned around San Diego and Stanford (something Ryan day could never do). Won 3 big ten titles and a natty and just back into the to NFL to level up. No one and I mean no one was calling Ryan day for nfl offers. Oh and btw Harbaugh doesn’t need to go on national tv to tell the world how tough he is lmao 😂.
@@LC9842 and I could give two shots less about the NFL but harbaugh lost, left, lost some more, cheated and now he's back and hasn't done anything yet so nobody knows what you're talking about, he turned around the chargers, he hasn't.
Left the program in shambles haha? It's stronger than it's been in decades because of him clown. Ohio fans are the only ones still talking about "cheating." Can't wait to watch your heads explode when the punishment is a slap on the wrist instead 9f the ridiculous things u have all been predicting. After michigan won the title, The NCAA president even said "at the end of the day, no one believes at this point that Michigan didn't win the national title fair and square." Guess he didn't realize how delusional ohio fans are and how desperate they are for an excuse when they lose.
I like that they showed his record over the previous 10 seasons as if it is stellar. The programs he aims to be would be embarrassed at a record of 88-39, particularly when his record vs Top 25 opponents is 12-25. Unfortunately, the administration loves him, so Franklin isn’t going anywhere and has little motivation to improve
@@wtbanation6268 They out recruit and have done worse than Penn State the last 10 years. So they’ve done more with less lmao. Don’t bring up the Texas playoff appearance last year. Penn State makes the playoffs multiple times if they were in the ACC, Big 12 or PAC 12
You are severely mistaken. Our last AD didn’t give the football program/Franklin anything. We just now got single dorms for football players. We are far behind in NIL. And we didn’t have proper funding for assistant coaches until we got our new AD.
I think you meant Dylan Wade for TE. Wyatt is a LB. We have question a mark at QB but more than that we have big ??? on the OL. Will we be able to lean on our run game to help bring our QB along? Our run game hasn’t been consistent. (Personal gripe)I know the spread is what we run but it irks me when we are in 3rd and a yard situation and we line up in the shot gun and hand it off to a RB. What ever happened to handing it off to a fullback on a quick hitter and he simply fall forward for the first down? I trust we will be ok in the secondary. Locks has done a good job of fielding decent secondaries. I’m curious if the TEs will be a bigger part of our passing game along with a greater emphasis on the running game. Wyatt and Whetland are good. Hippolite and Gotay sometime fill the wrong gaps but at this point they are who they are. Wyatt and Whetland do the same sometimes and our out position allowing for big plays or worst case a TD. They got to do better for our defense to improve from last year. Most importantly our DL will have make further strides. Back to the QBs… Billy Edwards strike me as a CJ Brown type. Edge is a traditional drop back QB with limited mobility and not an instinctive runner. Edge didn’t seem sharp/accurate in this game. With our OL I don’t see Edge being a viable option at QB. If Morris isn’t a more accurate/polished passer than Edwards then Edwards will be our starter. If Edwards struggles then Morris will be the first option off the bench.
As a giants fan i like what the Vikings did in the draft jj mcarthy and dallas turner you cant go wrong with that And i watched the 🌹 bowl all i saw was a absolute tough smart and great decision making quarterback who led his team to a national championship So Vikings fans sont be to rough on the kid his first couple of games give him time the kid is a winner he wins everywhere he goes crazy thing is hes only 21
Explosive doesnt have to be a pass play... AA, Helu, Rex and TMart blew plays up with their feet. DO NOT THROW PICKS, period. Desperation is blood in water while swimming with sharks.
Everybody else is putting words into the mouths of Buckeye fans. The vast majority of us are happy with Ryan Day. We also know how hard it is to win a championship. Other fan bases want OSU to make drastic decisions on emotions. That's not how they operate. They are very careful with the football team. That's why they don't make two bad hires in a row, like Hole and Richrod. The goals are the same. Beat tcun, win the conference, and won a Natty. What if we don't accomplish them all? We go back to work for the next year. We are not going to fall apart.
All the pressure is on OSU this season. Ryan day is probably not sleeping well. It’s literally do or die and Michigan will probably upset them again lol
