Wow, I found you, completely by accident. As I am in Australia I obviously missed the actual announcements about your guys leaving Titans but obviously noted your absence! Great to find you, and playing one of my favourite games. Good luck and thanks for producing such great AOS content.
Edward- Zaq here, keep in mind, every manifestation summoned is a spell not cast so there is a cost, especially if your army has good spells. I’d encourage you to play anyway without them, they are useful but not game breaking and I don’t think you’ll feel like you “need” them. Also, keep an eye on eBay. Lots of them are available to buy individually right now for cheap so you could buy one at a time and build up.
I'm confused, how did Brett pick take the flanks on turn 1, when everything was just set up? Doesn't that nullify the tactic that states "units not set up this turn"?
at 29:00 minutes, the redeploy command ability has the Run keyword, unless you have the run and charge special rule, you cant mix a redeploy and a counter-charge! Otherwise, nice battle report, you guys have a great vibe!!
You dont have to chant if you reach the number. One of the options in the rules state you can hold onto the points. Daughters of Khaine can fight twice with every unit (once) once per turn. Not once a game for the whole army.
Zaq here: 1. Okay need to find that, I thought I saw that too but give me page numb if you have it! 2.) Yes! Also seen some peeps say this but I’m not seeing it either.
@@TheHobbyCollabIn the magic section of advanced rules 3.0 states that when chanting on a 2up you pick one of two options, 1. Add the points to the total or 2. Add the points to the total and cast the prayer. In regards to dok fight twice the ability has once per battle and not once per battle (army), as it states the ability is used by the unit and not the player it means you can use it across multiple units over the course of the game.
Awesome thanks guys! Also saw this ruling for the DoK fight twice thing: Daughters of Khaine Q: Can I use the 'All-out Slaughter' ability once per battle with each eligible unit? A: Yes. This ability is used by the unit, not the player, so each unit can use it once per battle (since it does not have the 'Once Per Battle (Army)' timing
You dont have to be in combat with the hero to use the Orb that gives fight last. It just says something"choose an enemy hero that is in combat", currently that is boardwide and the hero wiht the artefact doesnt even have to be in combat at all ;)
Love the video, guys! Couple of things I did notice though: In Maggotkin turn 1 the spell being cast was called Fleshy Abundance not Magnificent Buboes/Boobies, and requires the target unit to be wholly within 12" for that -1 to Wound. Can't wait to see more AoS 4th going forward! :D
Hey guys! Yeah so metallics will eat a brush. A good tip is try not to get it in the furrel as you mentioned. Another better option is get a bettet ground metallic. So id recommend vallejo metal colour. The flecs are very grounded. Had great coverage and wont wreck your brushed. The gold is abit meh but do a 50/50 or 30/70 copper and gold mix and youll get a lovely gold. Inwont go back to the other stuff since these are a pleasure to.work with and worth the money. Thanks for the content as always!
@brettlee4955 Hey brett! Yeah they are tops. Other brands are great for colour varience (particularly gold) but using them feels like tar in comparison for me haha. Another great stream sers 😊
Hi, thanks for the Video :) 1 Questions for the gitz players, whats your thoughts about the mangler squig? I would like to play 1 or 2 but the attack profile looks a bit weak with the rent characteristic?
Great battle report guys! Super fun! Couple of things. Scrivener does his ability in your hero phase and nurglings do get crit mortals, even on GUO. Great content regardless Edit: nurglings are auto wound! You played it right
Blightlords are only damage 2 on the Charge. Urshoran hast 6 noble deeda because He gets it for every damage He does. Gnanoshing jaws Had to be 9 away from the ghouls but didnt Matter because you rolled a 9 Inch Charge. Also i think the ghouls were holding the objective over the plaguebearer. Cire spend his last cp on rally the turn. You cant covering fire with attacks that have shoot into combat. Manifestations without move can be setup into combat. I really like you guys and am happy that you are back. sad that the livechat didnt catched those rule errors. Still cool to see
@@cireesco Ah. However could you tell exactly what rule you had that said negates ward? Because so far haven't seen any negate ward rule that wouldn't apply to companion weapons. Khorne for example has the artefact. And when you consider it companion means friendly abilities can't affect characteristic or attack sequence. Well the attack sequence is the to hit, to wound, save and collect damage to the damage pool. Ward save doesn't come to play here. Once ALL weapons have done attack sequence you have damage pool. Once this is done comes the damage sequence. It is HERE where ward save comes to play and companion weapon makes zero reference to damage sequence. So the rule would have to basically specifically say damage caused by companion weapons can be saved by ward(or all non-companion weapon damage cannot be ignored by ward). Companion itself has no effect on ward ignoring rules.
There are very cheap mini files that come with several shapes in the set. ( 2 rounds, triangle, flat, and my favorite the knife shape)I can't understand why you guys use those sticks. One set of files will last forever. You should really try them.
Ih and with the green stuff. Adding more blue makes it stiffer and adding more yellow makes it pliable (double check that i get em mixed up). Getting the mix right for what you need is a skill in itself but its alot more versatile than miliput but more expensive. Milli is good for a hard block and sanding to be fair which sounds like how zach likes to fill. So, perfect for terrain.
When meg was lost for words on zachs airbrush assistances and zach says "add more paint?" 😂😂😂 Was i the only one who found that hilarious? I for one would love more tips to add more paint lol.
Also for skaven id love, love, love to see brood horrors. Could be brood riders or even a single or duo unit of beasts that are fast and slap. I really dont care tbh but brood horrors are necessary lol.
Been loving these hobby hangs guys. Im building and painting spearheads atm. Not working atm but might be able to help with a mandrill sub! Also, do you guys dilute your washes with medium or flow improver? Makes for a great tint. I find i nearly never use out the pot these days. I recall meg mentioning tinting and guess she uses it like that too?
Lots of talk about -1A of flinger but was there really that much companion attacks here to make impact? Or did you miss it's from companion weapons from charging. If you charge does nothing and doesn't impact chosens, chaos warriors, barely varanguard. No impact on 1A companions either. Also just vs 1 unit and not automatic.
It's not the app claiming you can rally. It's the glossary which is same pdf and app. Advanced rules commands hero phase command both app and pdf say not in combat. Its the short version in glossary that's incomplete. Both app and pdf :)
Thanks for the glimpse behind the member-only curtain! The train is a great schtick that keeps your viewers engaged. I hope you'll consider keeping it.
Manifestation rules. About commands. You don't find "can't use command". Instead they aren't units. Commands can be used by units. There's no rule allowing use for non-units. Can't give commands to terrain pieces either. There's verv speciic list they count as unit. Command is not one. It's do what you are allowed, not what is denied
Why chaos didn't unbind manifest when zak cast? Spiderfang not in good shape. Best news is didn't change much. But wasn't good before. And point changes horrible. And lost king's git :(
