The Channel for Campervan, Touring, Biking and Hiking Adventures. Big Stoozer MTB has now aligned with Rooty & Stoozer Campervan Adventures to become Big Stoozer Adventures. I am an experienced Adventurer and Cross Country Mountain biker. Back in the day I used to run a MTB club called Leeds North MTB which at its peak had over 300 members. After returning home to Scotland in 2009 the club gradually folded. This is a channel for Campervan road trip adventures and cross country mountain bikers of all ages. Where possible I include GPX routes of all my adventures. I predominantly complete Campervan Adventures and Mountain Bike Trails in Scotland but also visit The Lake District and Yorkshire. My videos showcase mtb trail riding but many of my adventures are suitable for gravel cycling. I particularly love natural single track but also enjoy visiting mtb trail centres. I felt for you both with those horse flies, bloody nightmare! Those thistles though, I reckon some Scottish people came down with their pockets full of thistle seeds and scattered them about mate hehe😂

What could be better than enjoying the adventures of Stoozer on a Sunday evening? A great bike tour where even the gamekeeper played a part and then a few beers🤩, it seems there wasn't a shortage of the delicious golden juice that day😁👍. The fish and chips also looked delicious. So sorry for not replying sooner Radgie 😁. I have been up in the hills again with no mobile reception. Just getting off to sleep in the Van when I saw your messages. The reason I lost it on this one was because my head set worked loose. I'm fully recovered though. My hands were badly swollen for weeks. You are spot on though, I have to take it easy in future because I have a bucket list to get through before they wheel me off to the knackers yard 😂. Your comments made me laugh out loud. What a lovely comment pal. Off road biking is about having fun and getting out into the big wide open. It's always given me a massive buzz and RU-vid is great for sharing those moments with like minded people. It's great that Rooty joins me on some trails. She is a natural. There's a lot of excellent trails and big XC rides around Creiff area never short of places to go, will have to check out sometime, great to get out into wilderness, I'm half way across on Ferry to isle of Arran, thanks for sharing some amount of work you put into your videos, all the best Gary 😁🤙

Hi Stoozer some excellent scenery down in the Yorkshire Dales, that chunky grass and thistles difficult to ride in had similar experience trying to navigate end of last ride in Pentlands, horse fly are a nightmare remember getting badly bitten round ankles had to get antibiotics!, great drone shots of yourself and flinty enjoying the ride and scenery, will be in touch about upcoming ride and thanks for sharing! 😁🤙
I was looking forward to it Stoozer🤩, once Flinty had finally done the washing up we were off and the first pub which was from the 13th century looked so cool😍. Inviting and a piece of history at the same time. The tour looked very nice but the path was covered in those nasty thistles and it looked like it was causing a bit of leg pain at times🙈. After the thistles, the bloodsucking horseflies, it was awful to see how many were flying around you🤕. But the view from the top was great and I'm already looking forward to the next part of the adventure. Thanks for sharing and have a great Sunday mate🤙✌

Excellent circular route starting from Carlops, think we've taken similar way up from Reservoir only you've taken the other right hand route (I think) where the track splits am I took left to bottom of East Cairn Hill. Definitely going to explore more of this end of Pentlands soon, thanks for sharing Stoozer and all the best Gary 😁🤙

Yes it was a great ride out pal. The off road route to the same place was a white out over the hills with no views obviously so going by road was a good choice. Thank you for watching. 👍🏻

We planned to do a challenging cross country trail on the first day pal but due to poor weather we completed a 30 mile ride to the beautiful village of Dent on quiet back roads. The next 3 days was a lot better meaning we were able to complete some nice off road adventures. Thanks for watching pal. 🤠
Oh yes, what a joy, a new adventure from Big Stoozer with his Van. This journey alone has enchanted me, what cool landscapes, so beautiful to look at. Hi Christoph. Your comments always make me smile from ear to ear my friend. Yes we had a great time for 4 days in the Yorkshire Dales completing some cross country adventures. Fortunately the weather was ok for a few days but not so good on the first day. I have been making fresh orange wine for 20 years, it really is delicious and best enjoyed watching some old episodes of Star Trek 🤣.
