@@markbarret6836 I believe you would have to make an inquiry to Plant Breeder Darrell Probst of Proven Winners Walters Gardens for more thoughts and insight on the L'il Bang™ series 🌼
@@FloraAnthology you may tell him I bought 3 Rose of Sharons from them this year! And a half price Crepe Myrtle with those exotic dark leaves, like featured in your video!
@@929jpotter that’s a bummer. Dieffenbachia is toxic to pets and is not safe for human consumption. I have curious and mouthing little children so I did not purchase for that reason. Perhaps you can look through the plant profile on Costa Farms’ website for plant care information. Collapse the tab that says Care. 🌱 costafarms.com/products/medium-cool-beauty-dieffenbachia-parent It really is one of the prettiest dieffenbachia varieties! Best of luck 🤞🏾
If you have bright light in your home, it should be pretty easy to get it to bounce back. This is a relatively quick grower for Dieffenbachia varieties, and readily produces offshoots that helps it fill in quickly. We really love this variety. Hope you enjoy yours!
@@herawi856 the description on the Knock Out website says ‘very slight’ scent, however I didn’t notice much at all. If you’re looking for a fragrant rose, this might not be it. It is indeed pretty 🌹
I believe this one is could very well be Rhododendron 'Mandarin Lights' Azalea 😌. Flame Azalea doesn’t appear to take the same form as far as the ball-like clusters of blooms. The stamens on Flame Azalea appear to be much longer. Either way they are both so beautiful! The color is not common! There is also ‘Gibraltar’ Azalea Rhododendron and ‘Tangerine Delight’ Azalea of similar coloring. Lots to choose from out there!
😂They have pruned them into some form of topiary 😌Maybe they’ll look pleasing in a decorative pot. I found these particular ones interesting 🤨 to look as well.
I think it is recommended to remove the flower stems after the blooms fade. A blooming String of Dolphins seems to be a sign of good health so you must be taking great care of yours!
Where did you find those? I have been looking for some and have resorted to ordering online. The sites I have been looking at ordering from want three times as much for the same size plant you have there. TY in advance for any help! I LOVE purple :-P
These are always in stock at the Home Depot near me. You can look on ProvenWinnersDirect.com Search Purple Tradescantia. They may or may not deliver to your location. As of today, it says the item is low in stock. The price is also higher online $36.99.
They enjoy full sun and soil that is more sandy for quick drainage. If your soil is heavy and thick, that might be an issue. It may be that they require 6-8 hours of full sunlight. My neighbor planted them curbside in the soil and only a few bloom appeared with full sunlight. Could be that these particular plants are more prone to be environmentally sensitive. Also, they are summer flowers so perhaps they’ll revive in the later months?! 🌸
Had to stop watching because you were moving so fast and barely showing or giving enough time to read the tags. By the time it would start to focus you were moving away. Some were good but most were not. I know you are just getting started and with time and constructive criticism you will get better. Just take your time. But thank you for sharing!
OMG like I literally just saw this in Lowes and fell in love. I don't have a green thumb. Does this have to be re planted in a pot OR can I just set the whole plant over in a ceramic pot and care for it that way?
Planting is unique to everyone and the environment. Plants needs, temp, humidity, soil quality, sunlight exposure all vary based on the location where you reside so it takes time to get it ‘right.’ Some say yes! to repotting plants right out of the plastic nursery pots into visually appealing planters while others say give the plants several days the become acclimated to their new environment. Hi! You can keep the calla lillies in the nursery pot if the plant is not root-bound. If it is root-bound, you can use a ceramic pot with a hole at the bottom along with some pebbles at the bottom to keep the soil from escaping. Calla lilies thrive in moist soil and warmer locations. It’s also suggested to give them diluted plant food approximately once a month. I’ve always repotted my plants into a container that is 2-3 inches in diameter wider than the nursery pot to keep the plant from becoming water logged. A larger planter will do if you plan on accommodating a greater quantity of plants. It’s always good to avoid overwatering. Thanks for watching and commenting !
It very well could be plant maintenance. It is a common in my neighborhood. Especially the roses in just about every garden. I would suggest sterilizing your garden tools after pruning and such. Making sure to clean up the infected plant debris that were infected and discarding them appropriately- not in the compost though. Powdery mildew usually spreads in the wind and favors humidity surrounding the plant. Consider giving your garden enough ‘breathing room’ by providing space between plants to minimize clustering and maximizing air flow. Spirea really thrives in tons of sunlight!
The "Rainbow" coleus blend from all vendors seems to be a Netherlands source. This is trash. I planted 100 seeds and 95 percent was dirty brown on green. I grew the easy sow passion flowers, what a treat. Under lights I am starting Snapdragons, passion vine, and, ugh, another pack of Rainbow coleus hoping for some keepers.
That’s disappointing. If all fails, could it be possible to purchase a multicolored Coleus tray of young plants instead? I know that Lowe’s carries a nice variety in the spring 😌. Snapdragons are always pretty and passion vine is so unique! Good luck this growing season.
