Welcome to having airride! Loose your sensors! Im upgrading the ecu from the old accuair but wont be using the e level height sensors If you want more reliability/control build your own system with manual valves and you can purchase pressure sensors for whatever max psi you want to run.
How much do you think this has to do with your input (changes you were able to make and not able to now from updates) or simply their system. I have been deep diving into them for nearly a week and have not found much out there providing true feedback. I literally was going to spend my hard earned dollars and buy the system in the next couple of days. Now what warranty, or comments have they provided if any, since the dust has settled? Their videos talk of a 100,000 mile warranty, but their website does not support their videos. I would of been adding it to a 2021 JT Rubicon with no alterations done to the suspension yet. Final thoughts…
The system wasn't for me. The company stood behind the product. If the system would have not messed up and not self adjusted oddly I would still have it. I just couldn't risk it with my 5 year old in the vehicle.
@@Grinderstwisties I am a little confused by “The company stood behind the product.” What options did they provide you? Similar to you, I could have my grand children in my jeep. Not trying to beat the dog, but would like to know what they offered to bring to the dog and pony show, within their warranty…. as it is my daily driver.
Well they refunded me the cost of the lift. So they stood behind the product. The system didn't behave like it should have. Yes I could have handled it in most weather. But in Wisconsin in winter and snow and ice having the front go full lift at 50mpg. I'd rather not. Not to mention risking my kid.
@@Grinderstwisties I definitely hear ya and appreciate your honesty in a tough situation. With all said and done, it is nice to hear you received a refund. I am assuming you had installed it yourself? I wonder if they would have refunded the cost of installation for those of us choosing not to install it ourselves. I think I will hold off on my purchase until more reviews come in or I choose to go another direction… I still love the concept, just needs to work.
It really sucks that this lift hasn’t worked out. We have an offroad only JKU that we’ve been considering for an accuair. Maybe it would be okay on this type of Jeep?
That sucks. Hopefully accuair takes care of this issue and gets it straightened out for you. I have one sitting in my garage right now waiting to be installed...
I'm switching back to springs. I still like the idea of the accuair suspension, but I can't have it messing up when my daughter is in the jeep with me.
@woodworthd2 Something in the system ECU or sensors just isn't working properly. (The front bags would fill fully at high way speeds) I've spoken with Accuair and told them about the problem. I'm going back to a spring suspension. I need a stable suspension since this is my daily driver and have my daughter in the jeep.
I know your Jeep isn't stock and you came from a 4" lift previously. I assume you have a longer drive shaft/s and brake lines due to moving from that lift to this? If so, how do you think it impacts things on this lift? Mine is currently stock, but I'll be putting this lift on in the coming months. Wondering if I'll be needing a drive shaft upgrade and longer brake lines. Their website doesn't seem to indicate any of this and the manual on their product page links to the JL model.
