@@SlySimon59 no, we didn't get back together until January 2008 at the Rock Radio 1st Birthday Bash. The El Pres album was released in 2005 and the MD at the record company changed deciding to go with more indy approach to bands and El Pres were put to one side, following which there was some legal stuff to get the tracks for the planned 2nd album back. And when Tom asked Jools if him and Dante wanted to do an acoustic set Dante said he'd only do it with a full band, so I was called. Shame about El Pres, did 9 drum tracks on it, the 2nd would have been superb. @@crispy.monkey Hi Al Thornton- yes the new single is great, just like old GUN! I’ve pre ordered Hombres and will be at The Barrowlands to see them very soon along with the brilliant Godfathers. It’s going to be some gig. Shame about El Pres and a second album, which sounds like it was almost finished and ready to be released. Is there any chance the music might surface at some point? Must still be a market for it - great shame when the levels get in the way of the sounds!
Great stuff, short and sweet. Alan Macleans the stand out factor for me, it's like he really wants that chemistry - which then makes me think, the point was that there was a breakdown in chemistry between the two. In which case, the acting was pretty good, enjoyed it. Would like to see more. Could always benifit with some sort of post production correction and grading regardless if it's a screen test or not. But overall . Great stuff.
