To clarify, if you use the warning flare, you only reroll the perils that hit you. Misses are not rerolled and remain as misses, so there is no risk of getting a worse result.

Does anyone know when you roll a number + deer in headlights + car - when it says all numbers that add up to that number does it mean that if you rolled a 5 you can play all your 1s 2s 3s 4s and 5s or do they have to align like I have 4 2s and 3 3s so I can only play 3 of my 2s and I have to keep my last 2 because it doesn't add up to 5? Also - can you have 3 cards that add up to that number or only 2 cards? (For example if it was a 6 rolled - could you play 2+2+2?

Our family plays " you need to cards only to make up the number" So if you roll a 5 and you have 3,3,3,3 and 2,2,2 you would end up with one single 3 left in your hand. This is a great question as it could easily be interpreted differently.
My family and I used to play the song game on car rides. We love music. One person would pick one word and the first person to think of three songs that has that word wins. Two rules, the person suggesting the word had to have three songs already in mind, and the person answering has to sing the part of the song with the word. So much fun

Theres only one comment on here??? This is SO DOPE! My son is 6 and has done one Escape Room with me and my husband and he LOVED IT. I don't think his friends will understand it just yet, but then again I don't know if they're into puzzles lol. I think this would be great for at least an 8yo. I am definitely coming back for it next year.
Just bought this. 1 quick question as I didn't see it in the rules in the box. Do you keep the jokers active from both decks of cards, and what are they worth points wise? Thanks in advance.
8 months late on this, but seen a video where some wrote, Lose Turn on two jokers, and Frozen on the other two, just a way to keep track of whose lost a turn, and who is frozen.

You can place it a quarter way from the location of 7:00 on a clock toward 8:00 on a clock in the bottom-left quadrant of the clock. We're so excited for you to enjoy the escape room!
We are excitedly setting up our escape room this minute. I have never done one before, so this seems like rocket science! I wish there were a page that explained the goal of each puzzle to the participants. I guess I will just wing reading hopefully the right things to get them started! I think I am too old for this.... 😅
Hi! What makes escape rooms in general unique from other activities is that the participants get to figure out all the clues on their own simply by exploring the items in the room and building connections. It's the mystery of figuring everything out that adds an extra level of excitement to escape rooms. Page 1 of the PDF does have a short intro to the room for them, but you can always give them clues if they get stuck. I've found that they normally figure out everything on their own, though, if they just give it extra time to work through anything that doesn't seem obvious at first. Sometimes they'll set aside one puzzle and solve a couple more puzzles before they come back to the original puzzle and can make more sense of it then, or they may have found another needed clue by that point to help them solve it. Thanks for the feedback though! That's a great suggestion, and we'll consider adding a "beginner's guide" for future escape rooms for anyone who hasn't been in an escape room before. HI! It usually can be completed in an hour by around 4-8 people. For each group, I would plan about 8 people maximum for everyone to be able to enjoy solving the puzzles. If you need it to be completed in less than an hour, you could always just give them clues every 10 minutes or so to help them solve puzzles or make connections faster. Enjoy!
