the thing you forget is modern Hollywood doesn't hire people who are fans or even know about the projects now it's about how many check boxes they can fill.
Need to replay this without the Random generator always 0, this is the cracked always Celie version. Game has tons of random stuff, but now always the same... worst hack ever.
Another Monty Python reference. Pirate seeks his escaped parrot "Polly" or maybe "Paulie". This is name of the parrot from famous Dead Parrot Sketch from Monty Python´s flying circus. I cant wait to see if it play out same :)
I still love the heck out of this era of sam n max, i've been so familiar with this series with all the games and the tv show but i never been able to get my hands on the comics. I'm replaying this game on discord for my friend who really loved my stream playthrough of Hit the Road. btw heads up these remastered versions you're playing here are censored but the game is still fun, don't let any of the haters tell you off for this. Just enjoy the game Brigands you lovely legend :D.
Sam and Max is a series that should have had so many more games under the original IP! The original (Hit the Road) had such a more organic slapstick feel and the old school graphics made it click!
As a kid, I played this before seeing the movie. Probably would not have watched it without playing the game. Gave me a better appreciation for the movie.
why does them saying dragon over and over in the game remind me of an episode of animaniacs where yakko says for them to stop saying dragon over and over
There was that long dialog with bar keeper you skipped. I dont think so you went through it before. I think you cut it completely before. (In entering the L space episode). I didnt quite catch it, but it strongly reminds me famous Cheese shop sketch from Monty Python flying circus. Sketch where customer comes to shop and names every type of cheese, but shopkeeper makes various excuses why they dont have this type at the moment.
I would make QFG characters in Soul Calibur 6 and make them fight in the tournament stage as me and my friend would do commentary as Ferrari and Ugarte. Good times.
0:57 Not only is Jan Hammer a badass name, he is the guy who composed the music for the legendary 80s tv series Miami Vice, including the title track and the iconic Crockett’s theme.
This isn't really required, but if you call for backup, two other officers will show up and shoot tear gas into the room after the shotgun goes off. You'll then need to wait for it to dissipate before entering the room.
Why wasn't there a list of regulations for getting into the sewers? You can't tell me just anyone can go down there without filling out forms in triplicate.
It’s painfully annoying in parts. I developed a term called “Keithing” which describes someone who in real life mindlessly walks too close to you and blocks where you need to go.
I loved this game as a teen! I remember showing my boyfriend how to complete it, lol He's my husband now, we've been married for 24 years. If I could get a screenshot of 11:59 on a t-shirt, that would be fantastic 😂 (we had a "maniacal" argument about Pepsi vs Coke at the time)
This is actually a very good review of the game Tony. It's a very weird vibe of a game with a terribly unsatisfying ending, but I think its quirks and goofy lines keep bringing me back to your let's play. Let's go Raiders 🤣
I remember playing Codename: Iceman and even with a hintbook to assist me when stuck, it still wasn't enough to get me through it. I gave up on the submarine aspect because of it's insane difficulty and agonizingly BORING pace. If Jim's intention was to simulate a realistic experience of serving on a Submarine, he accomplished it at the expense of gameplay.
There was a badge underwater that you missed. It's that yellow thing on the first screen you enter. Also, you were facing the wrong person at the ticket booth and showing the mugshot to the lady in front of the agent.
