I’m trying to get away from anything plastic as from something I saw on RU-vid , Plastics are found now in our blood stream , DNA possibly passed on to our children .Thank god I have been saving glass jars for years . Any glass jar used and washed up from my kitchen . Asking friends and family members helps speed up the process of saving them to use .

I had a try at throwing some do-nut rings in my adult education class last week, mine were smaller than yours and they probably don't have nice thin walls but I did it, and wanted to watch your video again and I found myself holding my breath as I did in class while you brought your walls together. the relief I felt for you was the same for me. Thanks for sharing. Will promise to try harder next time and to breath lol

@@potteryworks Hmm. At first I was thinking "this is a primitive glaze of perhaps the first kind ever discovered." But, probably the first potters to ever glaze were not capable of reaching cone 10 temperatures 1241-1305C, so maybe not...

@@warrendsmith6832wood ash glazes will fire at cone 6. Experiment with the recipe and ashes you use, the clay doesn't particularly matter. But cone 6 Temps can be achieved with charcoal fires
