The original has a coldness and weirdness that's terrifying, the remake is totally different but I like it too, specially because that's real time graphics
@@notheroicpinoy i dont understand how some ppl don’t bother reading the title or description and yet they have the audacity to question if its real or fake
I'll be ignoring any other comments asking about this from now on since the info is quite literally pretty clear in the video title and description. So just to set the record straight one last time: it’s NOT a leak. The footage is from a demo version of SH2 Remake given to the channel 2BRO by Konami, and they showcased about half an hour of gameplay on stream.
@@jamesconlin5099 No? How is it stealing? It’s literally just a clip. Like when Konami posts new footage of the remake on Twitter or whatever, others including people like myself will repost it on RU-vid for others to see. Are you silly or what lol.
@@rubeesharma4316 the og is a static 2d artwork with a distinct expression and no in-game background. This one is just a lazy in-game render with a red filter slapped on.
@@1theprince1 so a full game render with a read filter is more lazy than a static 2D "image of the character model with no expression programmed Some you might need some meds
Looks amazing. Anyone knows what the options mean? I guess the first 2 is action and riddle level. The other one is probably what mask u want but the other 2?
I removed the audio because the two guys on the stream were talking over it so there wasn't really a point. Feel free to check out the full stream yourself, but just to let you know, the menu sounds are entirely different from the original. I just wished that they kept the original start game sound in the remake since it would have been way better.
@@notheroicpinoy I checked out the stream, the sound is the similar but different, I'm not opposed. I will say watching the game had me saying "oh fuck that's silent hill" to myself a few times. I think aside from a few animation bugs I saw it looks great, has some kinda ps2 jank charm to it as well as being an atmospheric powerhouse.
James absolutely killed his voice acting in the remake. I'm not fully sold on Maria yet. I think her switching between sweet to venomous on "I'm not your Mary," was really important. I do, however, really like her vulnerability and genuine sweetness on "I'm here for you James. See? I'm real?" It sounds like the switch to her "Mary"-ness that the first part of the scene lacked.
The original feels like a ghost trying to pretend to be a person and the remake feels like watching a ghost dealing with a person who is already possessed. Either way, it feels like a horror game in a good way.
