Thanks. I got the Monoprice pin connectors and of course didn't come with instructions. These are different than the Monster connectors I used years ago, so the part about bending the tip to hold the wire in the connector is what I needed to understand.

Mine came with an optional low profile washer. It has a grreen spliced wire attached. Do i attach this to the copper wire coming from the ceiling as well as the green wire coming from the ceiling bracket?

Hey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I couldn't agree more with your review. I just bought a Recteq rt700, which I really like, but I paid $899. on sale for it. I've always read nothing but good about Louisiana grills and I know some of their grills are over 3 or 4 thousand bucks. This looks like " the one to buy" for sure, especially at this price. Marc T.
