New to your channel. You have great content and advice. I’m currently on a new drz400SM. Afraid to drop it. Watch your videos and got it down in a week
you think I should jump from a surron to a 450cc. I have only driven a 50cc before. Im not gonna start wheelieing on the 450 as soon as I get it but after a while
@@ko9etv only thing that scares me is really the weight of the thing. I can perfectly wheelie on my surron, do some tricks, fall back and all that. Yesterday I got so far back that my brake stopped working. So I fell, it was a slow controlable wheelie, which was good, so I wasnt going fast at all. But I fell to the side and caught the whole weight of the bike on my left leg. When I got up and the adreneline went away, I damn near passed away how much that shit was hurting. And im scared asf cuz I feel like the 450 gon be lika rocket launcher or smt lol. Touch the gas a little and u fly to the moon, sum like that.
Nahh you fell to side because no momentum, and when you get on the 450 you’ll feel the power and just ride a lil and mess w throttle to feel how it reacts, it’s not that bad just don’t underestimate the power it has, and don’t mess with the clutch until you learn the bike, it’ll throw you😭, any questions lmk
alright so my main problem is when the bike is in motion to pop up my body wants to jerk the throttle and whiskey throttle every single time any tips for that or positioning?
Uhmmm , I’ll just say pop the bike up, then put it back down don’t worry about distance, do you use clutch or throttle only?? If you use clutch go to my video I just posted on how to knee knock, I showed how to use it, any questions lmk , thanks for watching 🖤
From reading the comment section saying this is the best tutorial from many im glad this the first video i clicked on . I just picked up my first very own yz450f (i learned on my friends crf450 ) before anyone thinks its my first time riding haha hope i can get to popping wheelies like you guys !!!
when youre 'touching' the clutch do you slowly release it once youre up or do you keep it held in a bit? idk if youll answer since this comment is a year later then the video posted... but i have faith 😭thank you so much man great vid!!
I only tap it when I’m about to bring it up, just a quick tap and release, once bike is in the air I don’t use the clutch at all unless turning, coming to a light, anything to slow down or maneuver w/o putting the wheel down, etc . Any questions lmk , thanks for watching🖤

Yes, when you tap the clutch, you want to hit the gas, and drop the clutch same time, check 02:45-03:10 and 04:00-04:15 any questions lmk thanks for watching🖤

I literally cannot put my foot on the brake and the peg the brake is raised like inch up past my foot rest. Ima have to adjust it😂 fyi I wear riding boots size 11
Yes I use only throttle unless I’m in a higher gear(3+) then I’ll use clutch , go to my channel and look at my how to wheelie vid on the YZ450F and you’ll see , I showed no clutch in that vid, any questions lmk , thanks for watching 🖤
If I`ve been riding dirt bikes for 7 years, is it possible to learn on a 450 dirt bike? Obviously if I always wear protection and be aware of the break.
thanks bro nice video btw today i’ve looped the bike for first time, two times😀 if you don’t fail, you don’t put in enough effort right? I can’t keep it up but getting pretty comfortable popping it up and I believe that I’ll get it soon💪🏼💪🏼
It’s just repetition honestly, I’d feel like those are easier, they have less power than 450s and not as torqueee, any questions lmk, thanks for watching 🖤
@ko9etv thanks for info I just have trouble keeping wheel in air I'm not hitting balance point I guess man I want to do it like u do it ! Knock on wood I aint wrecked them yet trying lol
Just keep watching the forks, make sure you’re light on the gas, light on brake, only slam brake when you feel like you’re about to fall, any questions lmk
Don’t lift tooo high start lower, and already have your foot on brake but lightly, squeeze gas tank w your legs, any questions lmk, thanks for watching 🖤
