Hands down one of, if not the actual best, British bands of thr last 30 years. Take a voice approaching Whitney Houston levels... and add the attitude and audience connection of axl rose or Bruce dickinson. I was lucky enough to see them back in the 90s in some sweaty clubs across the north of England a few times. The connection with the audience was always there. Mesmerising on stage and not afraid to jump in 'literally' and put across a message with real political resonance. Incredible range of emotions and vocal capabilities backed up by a solid rock outfit.
You beautiful specimine of a goddess, i loved every minute and second of time to find and briñg you as 1, our love is, the almighty has dammed me to love you girl, please come closer to home.
You say your problem loudly, you can always have the right A swine of me, the ogrety, such a wither all your life But laughing at my confidence like you're sent to be with me We can watch the test get harder, if that's all that you believe But if you take away the moment that you realize the fear That you would fool my concience with every sickly smear In your suffocating silence, in your excuse for my charm The only life you see will do you harm So I carry on without you, as a withered little git We're crumpled and outspoken, such a sarcastic wit I get another mooler, who would only do me right But I carry on without you, I will leave you with your fight I'd carry on without you 'cos I'll leave you with your fight I carry on without you, I'll leave you with your fight
How does that work when she’s 7 years older than Dave chappelle ? I think it’s more Nina Simone and grace jones the existence created a split in the fabric of space and time and thus you have skin.
I don't remember much about the 90's but I do fondly recall my love for this band. Sometimes I get weak mental echoes of beat combos call Shed Seven, Embrace, Therapy etc. They were really shite.
Saw them live at San Diego State University at Montezuma Hall only 20 people showed up! I got pictures and the whole band signed my cd! Skin was so cool!!
Skunk Anansie played Eurockéens in 1996 & 1999, although I wasn't able to find out the year for this footage. I'm sure that someone with a little time could find out the answer, rather than moaning about a lack of information WHEN THEY'RE LITERALLY SITTING AT A COMPUTER CONECTED TO THE LARGEST INFORMATION RESOURCE ON THE PLANET, FFS!!
