What is the hesitancy in using 6th gear in 90% of American motorcycle reviews I've watched? You were quite often hitting 70/80 mph and you didn't even hit 5th.😢
I was skeptical buying my CLX SPORT 700 in 2022. I've owned over a dozen motorcycles since 1980 (including Ducati) along with all the Japanese brands. The 700 was every bit as good as any of the others and better than several of them. The powerband is excellent, with superior brakes. Top notch fit and finish and excellent handling. Not nearly as powerful as a liter bike but a lot of fun all the same. A very well-balanced motorcycle and one of the best values in today's market.
I just bought this bike like a few weeks ago i really like it i have the 40 year edition with a performance pack. Here in Europe its not restricted. So far i like the bike. I feel like the bike is to smal for me but i am a tall dude 😂 but the quality feel is top!
You can send in your ECM in to Team MSC, and they will throw a tune on it for this bike. Get you 8HP and 6 Lb-Ft of torque. Pretty nice. $300. It flattens out the HP and Torque curve too. They have a video on YT, look it up!
I have raced these a few times on dirt and asphalt except we had wings on ours and they flew on asphalt doing 105 mph top speed and a really tiny high banked outside 1/4 mile oval and the lap times was 7.50-8 second laps compared to the legend cars 11 second lap times lol. One of the highest power to weight ratio cars i have ever raced except for a winged 360 dirt sprint and adphalt sprint on a hige half mile paved oval. But i like the micros alot more cause they are slightly cheaper to run and cheaper to rebuild the engines and parts are a little cheaper. So if you wanna go sprint car racing and have the money to do so but not the big money to build a 100k dollar dirt 410 sprint then geab ypu one of these bad boys pr even buy a old outdated full size sprint car roller snd go 602 crate motor sprint racing
It's an inline 4, you need to rev the piss out of it, it won't get anywhere fast unless you do. It seems odd at first getting used to being so high in the rev range, but you'll get there.
Man, that stinks. I'm sorry. The cases took no hits mostly the bar? Do you reckon frame sliders would've mattered at all? I'm glad you're getting it back to 100% again. We got that 65 degree stretch a while ago, and I couldn't help myself either.
Yeah the cases went untouched. I think frame sliders would've definitely saved my fairings from getting scratched as well. I actually have a set of the TST frame sliders on the way for this bike... obviously a bit late to help me in this case though lol
Im seriously considering this 4RR, by the way, what is your height and weight, im 5'10 and around 78kg. Does your feet touch the ground, also about the oil change, do you need to remove the fairings to access the drain bolt, and the oil filter as well. And the coolant too. Thanks!
I'm 6' 84kg. I can easily flat foot both sides. You have to remove a bit of fairings to get to the oil filter. I can't ever seem to get it loose with all the fairings still in place. I haven't changed the coolant yet personally
It wasn't tuned in this video but now I have it tuned with a grave slip on exhaust as well. I'll be making some new videos once it's warm out. Sounds a lot better and is a lot faster now
@@ryansrides9230 Give me a sense of your feel of the bike now that you have owned it a few months. Has the cool factor worn off? If you rode my MT09SP that weighs within a few lbs of the ZX4RR and has full on 6-axis IMU and 100+hp and super torquey from the firs turn of the throttle - would the screaming 400cc 4-cylinder still be fun for you to ride?
If that zx4rr is US stock model. Its only putting down about 55 hp and 19 lb ft torque. With a flash it will put down much more power. About 75+ hp and 28 lb ft of torque. It will keep up then. Top speed is definitely higher on the zx4rr 🤘
Stock tq isn’t already at 28? The numbers graves gives on their dymo chart comparison between stock and ecu flash + slip on gets you up to 30tq. But the jump from 55hp to 76hp is the real leap
hey man, question for you as I see you have exp riding. I currently have a 2013 HD Forty eight. Looking to make the switch to a sport bike and considering the zx4rr. Worth it considering power/speed? Use it as semi daily and want something fun for weekends. Thanks!
The ZX4 will definitely be a lot different of a bike than your Harley. The ZX4 will be a lot faster, especially at the top end, but it won't have the same torque as the Harley. It's comfy enough to daily and definitely has enough power to have fun so overall I'd recommend it. Just really depends on if you like the sportbike riding style or if you prefer the cruiser way of riding. I'll be making an update video soon now that I've done some mods to the bike and gotten it flashed. Will be a lot faster than in these videos
@@ryansrides9230 I like the style of sport bike better for certain. it’s between this, a 400, or rs660. While I want it to be faster/more fun than my HD.. I Don’t want to get my self killed either though or be impractical
@@elitelol1x thats $12k/year coz u still have to pay for the whole year even in winter 😂 (6months). If u cancel u gonna end up paying some fees and x2 on your next quote 😂
