Evening thanks for the question. The current NHRA rules require a roll bar at a 7.49 et in the 1/8 or 11.49 in the 1/4. Currently run 7.60's and 11.90's. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching
Still sissy racing !!! Footbrake ??? How about the rest of your electronic crap ??? Footbrake it shift it stop the garbage electronics and drive it yourself !!!! I drove like a man NO electronics all me !!!!!
I remember those days of loading up and strapping down the car but to be honest I could have EASILY done without the horrible music and listened to the true music the sound of your car !!! I'll never understand why people think music is a necessary added luxury !!!! That was the only part I really disliked !!! Everything else was good !! Please discontinue the awful horrible elivator music !!!!! It ruins the video !!!!!!
Thank you for the comment. I do understand what you mean about the music. There are times when there is no sound or the mic does not pick up anything clear. We are still learning and working on it. The latest video has some additional in car from some buddies that I think is cool. Thank you again
@@simpsoncompetition how about some AC/DC or classic rock like beach boys my little 409 ??? That would be cool !!!! I love the in car view and giving your time slip details !!! I actually had a log book me and my friend and crew chief went thru before and after each run !!! You know the game MR. Consistency is in the house !!!!! I DON'T CARE what anybody says but bracket racing is the hardest thing to do and consistently go rounds !!!!! I even used a computerized weather station which helped a lot !!! Had a 10.0 Vega 1973 !! I miss it a lot !!!!! I have lots of experience to give away at 61 years of life !!!!! Ask me anything I would love to help if I could !!!!! Your competition looks highly skilled and competitive but that is bracket racing for us !!!!
@@simpsoncompetition I'm old school !! Footbrake and used a shiftlite shifting by hand !!! I loved the challenge of being in full control !!! I do understand it because In certain classes you can't be competitive without it !!!! At our track we weren't allowed to run multiple classes with the same car !!!
Really confused by your "blinders". Obviously they work great as you have great lights. Bottom bulb racing is real challenge. Did you make or buy the blinders? How do they work? Thanks for your RU-vid cite.
I made my own blinders for years to block the other side of the tree. These blinders are from Henderson race shop they are nice and can be adapted easily. Some of the older tracks I raced at did not have a divider on the tree so you could see both side of the tree as it comes down. I need all the help, concentration I can get lol. Thank you for asking. More behind the scenes coming soon.
Great video Robert! You got me 3rd round of Pro Again! If I remember right I was a bit late on the tree and broke out by .02? trying to keep a wheel on you. You where dead on with a 1 and must have had your usual great light. Fun stuff I'm looking forward to next season, Lucy getting a fresh LT1 maybe a couple more ponies!
