YOLO PUP is an online community and resource for new dog owners to gain more information, share experiences, and provide helpful, badass, and chic tools to make your life easier and more fun with your pup. Mals are high maintenance and require a significant amount of time & energy. Ryka has challenged me to step up as a leader, get educated as much as I can, provide hours of physical and mental stimulation, all while sharing the journey and connecting owners virtually worldwide. As for our YOLO PUP collection... it all started back in May when I was searching for a soft, gentle tug for Ryka’s baby teeth, from there it’s spiraled into something so much bigger than tugs and an instagram page @yolopup.la The YOLO PUP line is made up of interactive dog toys & training tools to challenge highly motivated dogs, empower pups & parents, build confidence, and encourage owners to engage more with their animals. We personally use each piece of gear daily for training and play.
Who are you and when did you kidnap my beloved Jackie and why are you calling her Ryka? By the way, since you have Jackie, she LOVES pool fetch and will fetch 30-40 pool laps until the owner gives up. Oops, gotta go, I hear Jackie barking in back by the pool. Still don't know how you snuck in dognapping Jackie and training her, but at least you brought her back. She IS a talented and precocious girl, after all! Gotta go, it's time for Jackie's bike ride!
My mom and I recently adopted a Malinois, he's 2 months old and already shows signs of learning. He knows "sit" already, and this video is definitely a help on the leash training. He came from a K9 camp that did not want him, so there has been no training, so I will be doing it all myself. He will be trained as my mom's service dog (she's a senior) so this video, like I said, will be helpful! Should I start the leash training in the house or outside because our baby doesn't like being outside (not even to pee) yet so...what would you recommend there? Ryka is beautiful, by the way!
The issue with whistle is anyone can whistle the same tone. You want the dog to respond to YOUR voice and not someone else fooling the dog with copying a whistle. Just use a shorter command than a 3 syllable name.
Just posted your link on my Facebook I believe you have a lot of good points to offer people so I shared your link thank you MICHAEL for sharing with us. I love Ares and Athena videos love to see them work with you🐾❤️🇺🇸
we have that problem with 😊 35:28 our German Shepherd. My son lets Roo sleep in his bed With our Miniature Schnauzer Skye my husband, lets her sleep in his bed.I really do not like dogs on furniture. I am always thinking of fleas and tick dog hair.
I train horses. And I have a working sport labrador... She has massive drive ..not like a Malinois but she is ball driven... And lives learning. I got her for not only my best friend but as a disability dog.. she loves learning time. She is one now and we have alot of basics down... I find dogs and horses are alot alike. They work on pressure and release of pressure. When she has her vest in she is working and when she... Has her vest off she can be a wing nut and run... I am absolutely loving the training aspect. Great video. Love tactical k9
It’s always refreshing to hear Denise Fenzi talking. I could listen to her for hours, she’s such a sensible voice in the dog training industry. I’m new in the field and already kind of sick of all the drama, neckgrabbing endless discussions that lead nowhere
I do love that this sport gets all types of people with all types of dogs. It hopefully will help Americans with understanding why breed specific sports for sutability are necessary. My fear is, it makes a better market for mediocre dogs. Its the best America has to offer.
I am going to travel with my PSD dog German shepherd for the first time. Thanks for the video and I totally agree with you we have to be a model to support service dogs.
Hi! I am curious if you can give me some insight on seeing how I can fly with my ESA dog (Yellow Lab) I have never done it, and i am reading that they wont allow them in the cabins anymore... can PSD big dogs travel in cabin ?? If so is getting that PSD hard? I would hate to put my dog in a carrier and not be with me...
You don't give treat to your dog after clicking?? But it is the point in clicker training, that the dog knows that after every click sound it will get a treat.
I'm adopting a Belgium malinois Cross Dutch shepherd puppy from rescue he's coming home next week. I'm used to high energy dogs already have a cattle dog and a malinois. Just worried this pup is four almost five months old and has no obedience training and a rough start maybe I'm missed crucial training and socialisation period hopefully not I wouldl e to get him to this stage of obedience both my cattle dog and malinois have a lot of advanced training but I had them both from eight weeks old and they came from good genetics and reputable breeders
Can you send me something so I can send you how my dog walks, he is 4yrs old and has a strange gate, his hind legs, walks like grayhound. Same breed mix
I am so pleased to be a owner of the Dutch shepherd and I must stress that these dogs are not just a lay around and do nothing dog they must be worked every day and require a lot of commitment to own
