Tito was completely wrong to assume that a multi-ethnic state would become friends by decree. In hindsight, of course, it is easy to recognise the mistake. 🤷🏼♂️ But what really turned me off was the unbelievable cruelty on both sides.😱 Previously functioning communities were torn apart. Friendships and marriages broke up because the religious affiliation was the "wrong" one and one went to a mosque and the other to an Orthodox church. How incredibly narrow-minded and stupid mankind is was shown (not only) in this war.😩

As much as I absolutely love this film, I watched again and again because of this amazing track. SO Balkan sad and haunting yet beautiful. Really added to this amazing film!!!
