I will be explaining why those lip balms should be avoided. This comment is really long so click at your own risk. Starting with the EOS vanilla mint lip balm, the possible irritants in its ingredients are its flavor, beeswax and lemonene. Some people may handle products with flavors just fine, but for some individuals with sensitive skin might find it irritating. Beeswax, while generally using this is safe, some people might develop or experience allergic reactions. Lastly, lemonene which is a natural compound found in citrus fruits. While it's generally considered safe, it could be irritating due to its properties as a terpene which is sensitizing to the skin. Secondly, the Blistex Lip Medex Cherry lip balm, the main irritants in this product are: menthol, camphor, phenol, and benzyl alcohol. These ingredients can cause burning, blisters, dryness, redness, itching and some can even cause allergic reactions. Moreover, ingredients like lanolin can cause allergic reactions to some individuals, This also includes flavors, fragrance and beeswax which was explained earlier. Thirdly the Chapstick Classic Cherry Lip Balm, the camphor and menthol are the main irritants in this list which most people use because of its cooling and refreshing sensations felt on the skin, but it could be irritating to some people with sensitive skin as it can lead to irritation, dryness, redness or itching. Other potential irritants in this product are fragrance and lanolin which was also explained earlier. Moving on with the Carmex classic lip balm, it contains several ingredients that can cause irritation. These are mainly camphor, menthol and salicylic acid. As mentioned before, camphor and menthol can be irritating due to the fact that it can lead to irritation. Now I don't even know why they added salicylic acid as it can be too harsh for the delicate and thin tissue on our lips, despite it being effective in removing dead skin cells. This is because our lips have a thinner skin barrier compared to the rest of our face which maker them more susceptible to irritation. Excessive use of this can lead to dryness, and cracking the lips which is ironic as that is the opposite of what a lip balm should do. If you're looking to exfoliate your lips it's better to use sugar or salt-based lip scrubs or lip balms with gentle exfoliating agents. Lastly, the Blistex Lip Medex, and you guessed it. The main irritants are camphor, menthol, methyl salicylate, lanolin, fragrance/flavor and a possible irritant which is Phenoxyethanol. Camphor and menthol as mentioned before can cause irritation. Methyl salicylate on the other hand is a derivative of salicylic acid, which I explained earlier is irritating to our skin as it can cause our lips to become dry and flaky, ultimately defeating the purpose of the lip balm. Lanolin could be allergic to some individuals while fragrance/flavors are often a blend of chemicals, some of which may be irritating. Lastly phenoxyethanol, it is a preservative commonly used in cosmetic products to prevent bacteria and fungi growing, while it is generally safe, some people might develop allergic reactions such as mild rashes to more severe symptoms like hives or swelling. The reason why Blistex Lip Medex works for some people are because of some ingredients and their benefits. For instance, Dimethicone, it creates a protective barrier on the lips and locks in moisture preventing external irritants. Then, sunscreens which are octinoxate and octisalate that protects the lips from the sun's UV rays which contributes to dryness and chapping. Emollients such as beeswax, cetyl alcohol and lanolin can hydrate and soften the lips, improving its condition. This includes camphor and menthol which provides a cooling sensation that can temporarily relieve discomfort related with dry or chapped lips. However, they can also be irritating. Lastly, methyl salicylate which contains analgesic properties which helps to soothe lip pain and discomfort. There are multiple reason as to why some people think certain lip balms work. One of these are temporary relief. Some of these lip balms contain ingredients that creates a protective barrier on the lips, preventing moisture loss. This can provide temporary relief from dryness and chapping as well as some soothing ingredients. Second are the misattribution of cause and effect. Having dry lips is a temporary condition that resolves on its own over time, which is why some people might credit the lip balm for the improvement instead of the body's natural healing mechanism. This also leads to what we call "correlation, not causation" in which the use of the lip balm coincides with the improvement of lip condition leading to the belief that the product is effective. Marketing, brand as well as product claims plays a role in this too. Bigger brands are often trusted and praised. And the way the product is advertised can largely affect the consumers perception of the product's effectiveness. To wrap it up, it's important to remember that everyone has quite different levels of skin sensitivity. Something that irritates one person could not bother another. If a product irritates your skin, then you should stop using it.
As a 11 year old I look very grown for my age and Some people might say “you are just trying to be more grown by shaving down there” But in all reality I think it’s just another place to shave and u do see a lot off the people in the comments saying thx for this I am 10-14 and nobody taught me and they are getting hate it’s honestly just another place to shave it causes odor and some when you are wearing a bathing suit it’s nice to shave down there

I’m no man but as a 12 year old boy none of this works I tried and tried but there too too weak let’s be real if your playing ball 4hrs straight that ain’t stopping no stank fr.just from my experience
Okay I’m not sure anyone will see this but I did a bunch of research to find the best way, hope it helps you. (If you find anything wrong please tell me because I will be using this method too!) Exfoliate with a gentle scrub, natural oils or fine grains, like a sugar-based scrub 1-2 days beforehand in circular motions for 30-60 seconds. Then rinse with warm water and pat dry. Use an unscented and gentle moisturizer afterwards. (I’ll be using Cetaphil) Once the 1-2 days are up, clean the area with a gentle facial cleanser without salicylic acid, and warm water. (CeraVe is my choice) Use a sharp blade and rinse it with hot water before and after, shaving downwards with the hair. Don’t shave upwards. (Gillette Venus razor is recommended) Moisturize again and avoid tight clothes.
