Hey man, I haven't had switches on a ride since the early 2000s. How much does a setup like this cost these days? I have the same car. I'm down in the springs and I don't have many options here, I went to MI gente customs but I think they are asking too much. Thanks for any info.
It was 5gs $$ ,Samn Kustom ,Denver you can find his shop on google give him a call . 2000$ for the hydraulic parts pump dumbs cylinder ect set up 3000 $ for installation You can also take your own hydraulic parts and just pay for the installation! Yes! but unfortunately only If I do a turn an hit the switch lower the corner , I just haven’t done it but il try getting a video here shortly but to 3 wheel with switches , I need a chain bridge an reinforcements , I will be doing soon .
Almost 2+ months usually depends how much you drive it I don’t try to , ON High lock up the wheels are almost straight so it’s good For a bit, 3 wheeling yeh it’s gets crazy few hours what I seen 🛞

I got mine from Facebook marketplace , most likely EBay would have some go to it on your phone or app type in … “Lowrider hydraulics Extended A Arms“ they should pop up few suggestions but online is the key 🔑 for those or Facebook market place try both is what I did , if I know any website il definitely check back but eBay or google too, but take time cus people be putting different prices on them find the best for you !

I learned the hard way 😅 accidentally got tangled with the switches and holy cow 👀 sounds like a bomb 💣 but I was quick enough to untangle them fast enough I saved my Hydraulics’s! I left the quick release connected while working on my car 🤦♂️
5,000$ depending on who you go to or know , I just seen a video on RU-vid some guy paid 5,000 $ for 8 battery 2 pumps mini hopper lay play car . Mine is only 2 pumps 4 batteries 🔋 lay play can’t hop for now . Make sure get 5 tons coils and piston pumps those are the ones you see hopping around an 6 batteries too🔋 , mine are all basic pumps so it won’t do much . Competition cylinders if you’re looking to hop !

Cool vid brother. Not sure if you know, but, you don't need to worry about "tapping" it down. You can literally hold the switch down with no issue. There is only power going to the dump to activate the dump(s). Don't hold it forever. But you can hold it down until the car is fully laid with no issue. If it dumping too quick...turn down your slow down. Now what you showed...that is what you want to do for locking it up. 100% correct on that. Do not hold a switch up...bad things will come of that. Keep the content coming man. We need more lowriders sharing!

Looking good bro! I blew out my pump seals holding the switch up. Luckily I didn't strip the gear splines, pop lines, or bend anything. I had the switches upside down and thought I was dropping it😆. I'm learning too. I was told to listen how it sounds and you will know when it's at its maximum lift. Then you will automatically know how many licks to give it, to lift it once you get the feel of it. I got the same exact car. down@7synergy917
1 lug wheels are such a bad idea. The guy down the block from me has a 70? Impalla lowrider. I watched his driver side tire come off while he was slowly cruising the neighborhood and it did at least 5k in damage. We had to put it on a railroad tie for me to tow it back to his home. I haven't seen it since, I imagine they had a hard time redoing the paint (many thin stripes, flake, etc) The 1st gen Corvette manual said check the lug every 400 miles if i remember correctly. Easy to forget.
That’s crazy ! yes your right they will come off theirs even a warning ⚠️ said. Label saying “tire might come off “ …I always hit it with hammer 🔨 before cruising but even that you never know , yeah it definitely happens with Lowriders , hope and pray is the only way 😅🙏 or weld those suckers in 😂
I did some research on eBay thier selling a black head panel for a 1978 Cutlass 400$ , go to eBay in your phone or computer “1979 Oldsmobile cutlass Front Bumper” you should get some Pictures of them that’s how I found mine il make a video of how o found mine ! Thanks for commenting!!

Diagnosis is the hardest part bro lol Im gonna just have to break down n get me a mechanic. She's just not running right. It was. I made so.e changes to get my emissions, n after that its been all bad.
What I do is just pay someone to tell you an show you what they did and how they did it I mean if you are able to pay them “ hey I got 100$ can you show/tell me what was the problem? “ after that next time you already know the deal ! I don’t know much either but I do watch RU-vid videos and google search even if sometimes 5 hrs reading an reading 📖 I put my questions/problems an Reddit sometimes has answers an comments online , yeah do what you have to do to get it going !
