Petra had such beautiful fashion packs. I said before that I prefer Fred over Ken ( sorry Ken). But I would love to have Petra too. Esp Dream Petra. She was soooo beautiful.
Very interesting how the Petra kids have the same mold as the Heart Family ones. 💕 And the camping accessories and Barbie surf/sail boat are great finds too! ⛵⛵🌊 Wow, such a nice variety of toys in this video! I would have definitely snatched up Maiden Fair Hair too! 💙And Glo Friends and Rainbow Brite 🌈...you found so many of my favourite toy lines! 💕💖 You have so much luck finding those little Cave Club figures! 💜💫🍓

Yes, growing up in the 70s was definitely a wonderful time to grow up. I mean when I was a little kid it was safe to roam all over the neighborhood by yourself. Some of my best memories were playing Barbies with the neighborhood girls. One lived up the hill from me and 2 lived down the street from me. We would take our Barbie cases and up and down the hill or up and down the street we’d go to each other’s houses. We had a ball! It was such fun trading clothes with one another and we even came up with this Barbie doll accessory game. What we would do is we would take a bigger clothing item like say a coat and we would go through our clothes and accessories and what we didn’t want anymore we would wrap up inside the said coat and we would exchange with each other. It was so much fun!! oh my gosh the stories that we would create with our Barbie dolls was so funny. I stole my brothers Gene Simmons doll from “KISS” and we would make him and the Mego Cher doll Barbies villains lol. The answer to your question is NO! I never found Superstar Barbie’s head under the water. Believe me I had the whole park looking!!!😂
@@janetsplanet2947 That sounds so lovely 💗💗💗 And funny 😂😂😂 (apart from the lost Superstar head 🙈) I mostly played alone with my toys. Playing with friends outside we mostly did not have any toys with us 🤔 But we still had fun 😁🌳🍂🐌🐿

I recently got myself a heart-shaped pool too ❤ I can't believe people are so mean about Divas nose. I think you did a great job. Im glad she was saved by you and added to your collection. Your new Divas hair is stunning 😊 I collected the hatchimals fairy riders when they first came out. I like hatchimals in general, but i just forgot about them for a while. My favorite is a little bunny that came out during Easter time one year. She's the cutest ❤😊
I think I saw a photo of you in your heart shaped pool on Instagram😉 So cute ❣❣❣ Hatchimals are cute but never caught my attention very much. But I found one of the Pixies Riders at the flea market some months ago, had no idea what it was, but fell in love with it😍 These animals I adooooore 💗💗💗
They are all four pretty but I think my favorite are Nova, then Aurora, the peachy one and last Polaris. I don't have any of them yet but hopefully I will buy them in the future. The box by the way looks amazing, very beautiful! You saved the boxes of the ponies you opened right? Those backcard stories are always so sweet and adorable! ❤ You matches the Celestial Ponies very well with your pretty earrings Lau. ❤
You got some really cute things at that flea market. I really like how you clean everything up to show it again at the end. I know it is not easy to do that. It takes a lot of work to get everything clean and working. I know your viewers really really appreciate all that hard work. p.s. I just ordered that Odette ballet dress on eBay for a naked Ballerina doll!!
Lovely finds! My favorite part of the hunt video was where you saw the Lady Lovely Locks and was like OMG!! 😱😁 I can understand you liked Petra over Steffi Love. Petra is very pretty! We didn't have Petra in shops here. We did have Steffi Love and I didn't really like her. I did love Hasbro Sindy though, next to Barbie 😊 I liked that she was also high quality but it did bother me that the faces were all very similar.

lau, its disturbing to hear that someone wants to throw a doll cuz of her nose. Damn , i would def saved diva with nose job on display and just put her in other rockers fashion pack if i had. And nose job for music stars was so common in 80-90s...😅

Awwwww~ thank youuuuu ❤❤❤ I'm always happy when I can share my knowledge 😁✌ For Barbie identification (by face) I use Fashiondollz (website is in German and English and lists EVERY Barbie by facemould and with super close up pictures of the head and face). For fashion identification (60s to end 90s) I use Barbieworld (dot IT - Italian website - I don't speak Italian but when you learn to navigate the website it is super helpful for fashion pack identification - almost all are listed there until the late 90s) All Barbies listed by year in box you can find on Barbiecollectors altervista . For accessories or furniture I can't tell you specific websites. General google search and google lense. Accessories are the most difficult to identify for Barbie. I'm sorry that I can't put links in a youtube comment. RU-vid will delete those comments. Hope you can still find the websites.😉✌
14:11 Yes! Teen Time Skipper & Courtney Sleep'n Study set. I had it as a child and I loved it! Gave it away when I was in high school, but really regretted doing that later on. I was lucky to find one new in box in Spain a couple of years ago! 😁
So your oldest sister was born in 1969 like I was? Wow that’s cool. Yeah I had some pretty good toys back then. Let’s see…..Of course Barbie I have lots of stories about them. When I was 9 I lost Superstar Barbie’s head in a lake lol. I played with the honey hill bunch, I had the 18 inch fashion doll named Tiffany Taylor. Her scalp turned so you could make her a blonde or brunette. I had Baby Chrissy doll and the dancerella doll. All the ponies that you love so much came out way after my time.

So happy you have a Sindy! I have a few, I like her because I feel she has a more realistic face, the big eyes and round face feels realistic for a teenager, still adore barbie though 👍
Sindy is a pretty doll❤ And I respect her for the toy history aspect and what she means to so many people. But to me personally, the face is the point I least like about her. Reminds me personally too much of a baby doll face with her pouty lips. And her head is too oversized for being realistic but not oversized enough for being cute cartoonie..😂 It's personal taste and probably what I grew up with. This type of Sindy was not around anymore in my childhood. But I love that she is beloved by so many people❤❤❤ And your opinion is valid and absolutely correct. I had a very round face and chubby cheeks when I was a teenager 😂

Schleich ist leider nicht mehr was es war seit die Firma von Finanzinvestoren übernommen wurde. Und jetzt verlassen sie auch noch ihren Stammstandort und gehen nach München. Vielleicht werden die Figuren bald sehr sammelwürdig sein sollte die Firma verschwinden.
Interessant 🤔 Noch sieht das Angebot aus wie immer in den Läden. Dinos, Tiere, Bayala und Co. Ich denke Bayala wird für die Generation, die in den letzten 10 oder so Jahren damit aufgewachsen ist, sowieso sammelwürdig sein. Ist auch wirklich hübsch. Zu den älteren Schleich Figuren und Tieren habe ich gar keinen Vergleich wie sehr die etwas wert sind. Danke für den Einblick.
@@LauSkypainter Gerade an der Qualität der Bemalung der Bayala Figuren hat man den Wechsel der Firmeninhaber deutlich gesehen. Wenn man eine alte und neue Figur vergleicht ist das wie Tag und Nacht.
You are exactly the same age as my oldest sister😉 So you were a child of the 70s. Which toys did you grow up with? My sister grew up in the former GDR (Eastern bloc...) so not comparable😅

Huge Heart Family fan here ❤ Yes the hats belong to the camping set. It included fashions and camping accessories. Very lucky you found so many pieces of them! Love the heart Pool! 😀🙂❤ Fun fact: The camping stuff were also used for Big Jim. The chairs, cooking stuff and so on 🙂 Even the Camper. His Camper was brown then instead 🙂

That cassette player is really cool! It doesn't take up much space and you don't have to use batteries. Maybe not the most colorful find but I also kinda like the look, kinda Retro because it actually is 😂
Yeah, I've given up on finding a cute + colorful vintage Walkman😂 The one I bought broke immediately😅 This one still has the 80s/90s look to it😁✌I'm very happy with this purchase 😊❣
Cool that you can find all those things on a flea market, in my contry those things are very overpriced, recently my niece went to Germany and came back in love with the country, the only sad thing, at least for me was that she said that she coudn´t find toy stores, at the end she bought me a porcelain doll, beautiful by the way : )

But we don't have many vintage toy stores here. We have modern toy stores like Smyths Toys. So not sure what your niece was looking for. I mainly buy at flea markets. And those are hit or miss. One week you don't find anything. The next week you find hidden gems. It's not like there is an endless amount of vintage toys overflowing flea markets in Germany. It might look like this in my videos since I film the occasions when I find stuff. I don't film when I don't find stuff. That would not make interesting videos 😂 It's a hunt. Go early and go often. It's work.😅 But nice work. I cross my fingers for you to also find some good deals where you are living🤞
I’m in love with Diva!!!! She’s super cool. I was a teenager in the 80s and I’m a huge fan of Barbie and the rockers because they remind me of myself and my friends in the 80s. 💚🩷🩷💚 Shame on those who told you to put 1985 Diva in the bin!!! Broken nose or not she rocks too!!!!

Wild hair Sindy is one of the 90s Hasbro Sindys, right? I think they don't have much in common with the type of Sindy I showed in this video😂 though I highly prefer the 90s Sindy over the 60s-mid 80s Sindy actually😋✌ Cool that you got the Wild Hair Sindy.❤

I always enjoy your flea market videos. It is amazing to me how many flea markets you have available and how big they are. You also have so many Barbies available. We are not seeing very many Barbies at the flea market here in Alabama. A lot less than a few years ago. I think more people are buying them up since the movie. Have you noticed any changes in Barbie availability since the movie?
@@dianathorpe2280 Well, this flea market is not in my area at all. I was on vacation in Swizerland. Hence the "ToyGaudi in Swizerland" series. It is a full travel day away from where I live. It is the opposite side of the country.😅 No, I have not noticed a difference since the movie at flea markets. In the winter not much to be found. In the summer, still the same amount. Prices roughly the same. It might have chanced in online spaces. But I rarely buy Barbie online. Especially not for "market value" 😅

Did you boil dip the candy cane pony curls? Just curious. I don’t know if it’s because I live somewhere quite hot or what, but the curls seem too heavy to stay permanently with just rollers.
@@ashez2ashes In this video and also in the video of the Candy Cane pony, I did not boil them. They need to be super dry, when you take out the straws and I used a little bit of hairspray afterwards. They will hang out a little over time, yes. But the smaller the curlers are that you use, the longer the curls will stay. Curls done with bigger straws or curlers will hang out faster. In the video where I rehaired one of the Rainbow Curl ponies, I boiled the curls since it was brand new slippery hair and I wanted the hair to better stay in place. So, you can do it❣ A boil perm works wirh pony hair.
My dad liked to watch & buy little figures or lil figurines even he didnt know them... here i had one i was sure it is digimon (i didnt know nothing about it) and i was right... i miss him so much.. he gifted to me the love of art... like every arts we can love even to me the love of toys its an other art to love.. and the love to search when you go to thrift or buy used...6 months he lefts us... i just cant believe it... he kept his child's heart and the discovery of new things to learn and discover things he didn't know with his child's heart.... argh so sorry♡♡♡ just love your content... reminds me so many good memories...thank you you and vintage Gaudi Serena(?) I don't even see others dolls in your video!😮 We went the other side of the lake and I remember digging through toy pile and found that Barbie dragon plush. I was about to buy it, but the seller's daughter told us no, so I couldn't get it. I was bit disappointed about it😔 Wow, I didn't see that bag with Gyarados water gun!😮 My husband picked up a lot of Pokemon figures and we got Magikarp that Sunday. I think someone beats us to it😅 It's cool you able record it. Thanks for sharing your toy hunting! It's really cool and surreal at the time that I was around there too.😄 Cant wait to see the haul!💕
