Ham and ty's fishing adventures is about two good mates that go on missions and have a great time, the shenanigans are great too. We also give back to others check us out on RU-vid and our Facebook page. Enjoy.....
It's taken me a few years to sort this out and is pretty much the same as your rig except I have a running clip to attach the traces to so I can pre bait & freeze them. I found the less hardware down the barrel the better. The biggest challenge for me still is to have a bait left on the hook at 200 meters. A great presentation mate, clear and precise, well done, & I'm looking forward to more from you about this great way of fishing Cheers
Ham, what's the catch bag you have. Would be great if you could do a review video on the bag or even different types... Am looking to buy one... Cheers...
Watch. Basic_Fishing, fishingreminders. They are pretty good and cover most fishing methods. Also search up if somebody fished a river you want to fish
Hey guys, awesome vid! I'm a new fan, but a big fan. I live in Palmerston North and have grown a big passion for fishing in the last couple of years. Unfortunately I don't have anyone to teach me about fishing or the water, so I don't have much luck. How would you recommend someone like me reach my full potential of fishing in NZ?
He cracks me up with the things he says, he's loving his fishing journey both infront and behind the camera, soo many memories to be made. Cheers for all the support.
I ran the transducer cable through a hole I drilled in the back of the tackle pod well and then around up to the front inside the kayak. This seemed like a better way to do it as there's recessed section on the back of the actual tackle pod.
I am buying a new model Viking 400 soon , it has extra storage like the reload , redesigned bow , larger transducer mount cavity etc... for me 4.5 M is just too big for storage plus the extra weight. I love the look of the reload , but for me even a GT would be fine as I am not into going far out to sea , also fish rivers , but I decided on the 400 for extra speed and extra safety for the sea , I will be getting a Bixby too next year the new version K1 when they arrive in NZ . I figured if I got the GT as great as it is I may always regret not getting the new 400 , where as I'd likely never regret not getting the GT once I have the 400. Only con really is the minor hassle of the FF needing unplugging each time.
@@hamandtysfishingadventures9685 just one more question regarding your trace and weight do you use mono only or is braid okay? I have a 1m 40mm barrel and 1m x 50mm chamber. I get the chamber up to 120psi is 100lb and 80lb strength still okay for that dimensions? Cheers
