Great video, what format do you put the drives in? Fat32, NTFS? Also, what's the highest capacity drive is supported? The mfg, suggest 12tb? Can you clone the original drive or just add the secondary.
actually different brand can't connected other brand, maybe u can use any vide surveillance management like ispy for live surveillance use protocol onvif or RTSP
Okay, I was easily able to connect the microphones to the cameras and the DVR and they work great. However, I want to upgrade my DVR because mine is like 12 years old and just has a VGA display connection. But, considering that i have connected microphones to all 8 of my individual CCTV cameras, all the microphones must be plugged into the DVR. All the DVRs im seeing today only have "1 audio in" port and "1 audio out" port. How would I go about connecting 8 microphones to the DVR if it only has 1 "audio in" and 1 "audio out"? Now, I know I only need 1 "audio out" port in order to hear the audio during playback. But, how do I connect all 8 microphones to the 1 "audio in" port? Or am I gunna have to buy an "audio in" splitter" for that to be possible?
Hi, nowadays you do not require a separate microphone as they now come built into the cameras. This technology is known as AoC : Audio Over Coax (but still works with cat5/6 with Baluns) You need an AoC Compatible DVR: netviewcctv.co.uk/cctv-recorders/dvr?dvr_features=6828 and AoC Cameras: netviewcctv.co.uk/cctv-cameras/hd-cameras-bnc?camera_ahd_features=6827 and that will do away with all the mics & separate power supplies and look much neater and is easier to setup. @NetviewCCTV Thank you for the information and for your reply! I genuinely appreciate it!! However, my problem is that I do not plan on replacing my actual cameras. They are only a few years old and they work flawlessly. But, my DVR is like 12-13 years old and just outdated and kinda acting up a little bit. My plan was to just replace the DVR only while continuing to use the same cameras. I did have to buy microphones for each individual camera and when I bought the cameras, I did buy the power and video cables that had the audio RCA already built in. So, now I have 8 RCA microphones that require them all to be plugged into the DVR. I'm not sure what my options are at this point. I really DO NOT want to buy an entire new system when I already have everything I need that work perfectly other than just the actual DVR itself..
Hello, I have a problem with my door station Hikvision DS-KV8113-wme1(b) with the last firmware update V2.2.53 build 220816. Unfortunately, I am trying to read a card to acess my door. When I add the person with iVMS-4200, the door station villa reads the number the card, and absoletuly fine. I add the user to organization to give permission with the template All day and aplly the changes to the device. Everything perfect. When I try to read the card to open the door gets the message on the iVMS-4200 “Invalid Card Swipe Event” and I cannot acess. Best regards, Ricardo Barroso
I know this is super old, but I have some HIKVision cameras and the settings look exactly the same, but the SNMP menu is missing from network>Advanced>SNMP is missing! I don't know what to do or where to look :(
We’ve only had the cameras up and running for a short time. ru-vid.comUgkxOXxsTZ3ptV_Pk0fFl8bNZvVqeoqBQFwe So far we love them! I got the outdoor mounting kit for them and they were easy to install. Once you download the app, it walks you through the very easy set up. The clarity, and range is awesome. I am thinking seriously about adding another camera or two to my 3 camera system. The price is lower than a lot of comparable systems.

Installed it myself without any issues. The wifi signal is great even ru-vid.comUgkxE_D_sddGAdiVUKp7PkkmyxO7bRtgqmk5 when the router is located far away. I really enjoy the night vision feature that allows me to see clearly any activity near our house (mostly cars and wild animals). The motion detection is helpful to me as well to monitor what happens on our front.
