I really like your videos thank you so much for all the videos you post, I feel like bass players don’t get enough love, and you do your part to make sure that that happens! I look forward to every video you put out, It’s always a treat for me! I’ve been playing Bass professionally for many years since I was 12 years old, i’m 47 now, and still every time I pick up a bass I feel the magic, and I have bought allot gear and bases over the years, and a lot of my decisions are based off of a lot of your videos, and you guys never let me down, I love your RU-vid videos, thank you so much for giving back to the Bass community! I’m a bass player here in Las Vegas in the United States, I play a stingray 5 special double Humbucker, and a Sadowsky Jazz 5 bass, and use a Genzler Magellan DI, and a boss bass multi band bass compressor when playing Live, and I play pretty much every week in front of huge audiences, and a lot of what I choose as far as equipment is concerned, has a lot to do with your videos, and it really helps me out so much, to choose the right thing to buy,and I just wanted to say thank you, I really depend on you guys so much to help guide me on what to buy! Your channel is awesome and I so much appreciate it !
Very underrated instrument. One of the few brands that can safely rival Carl Thompson. Of course, the only thing naturally, do next would to try to play “Jerry was a race car driver” on it.
That blue against the white pickup and pickguard is beautiful. Hey, Gregor, my band is currently booking a European tour. There's talk of possibly getting a show in Germany (besides passing through for the layover.) If so, is it possible to meet some of you guys?
@@basstheworldofficial oh. That‘s no good. I won‘t wait so long. Fortunately, there is so much choice of other brands on the market. I played a Sandberg some years ago, but all German dealers I know tell me it was hard to be delivered with basses and prices increased terribly.
It's not the bass or the price, but the exact sound you're looking for from the instrument. You can go from the most exotic wood grains and best active electronics for that real deal sound, then on a breakdown use the cheapest instrument and smallest amp for that weird, almost psychotic sound... Then BOOM!!! hit hard with the expensive, beefy, punchy hard hitting sound for an original sounding song.... It's the way you use the tools and what you want from them. I like that color btw, I've been REALLY liking bright colors lately.
Every video I keep seeing the sandman books in the background and so I tried to find if you reacted to the show. It doesn’t look like you did but it is really good. If you ever get enough space in your queue, Sandman is a great watch.
All super cool! I think those Lollar TB pickups on a chambered 5 string NS-2 would be a dream come true, great blend of modern and classic! 😍👌 I really like the 'All In', except the dice knobs... Bit tacky? Oversized knobs with poker chip decals could work well!
My dad was in the Army in the 90s and stationed in Vilseck Germany not too far from Mannheim. I loved that city so much and miss it hopefully one day i can afford to travel over there and visit again!
