I loved the deluxe dining plan. we definitely got our money out of it. Having everything planned. with this new disney dining plan it's made it harder to plan. we preferred table service for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I've never really liked the quick service restaurants with table service restaurants it's like a break in the ac where we could relax
Thanks for this but it didn't answer the questions I was looking to answer. Eg. Can I use it to make purchases at other on-property resorts (other than my own)? Haven't been able to find definitive answers about that - they always talk about your own resort but many people choose to resort hop. Can I use it for all my on-property purchases and Disney transport on check-in and checkout days (ie before and after room access)? Again, I've seen a lot of vague answers about this and most deal with day of checkout, I've seen very little about day of check-in and mostly that it can be used for park entry (if linked), which can be done even if not staying on-property so I'm not seeing much extra value there
I'd like to know if it still works with all those beads. They're raised above the profile of the Mickey inset so that's going to hinder direct contact, and most tap technology requires that, but is that the case here? I don't know. Would be good to find out
Thanks for the video. 😊 I was so excited when I saw your Disneyland shirt because I thought they finally added opening up your hotel room and linking the Magic Band Plus to an Apple Watch, but they haven’t added those features yet. It’s a bummer. I know they are working on it, but they are not active yet. 😞
Do these needs to be used per day? So like for me I’ll be there for 6 days.. However Day 1, I don’t get there until the evening and day 6 I leave in the morning.. So I get 12 quick service meals and 6 snack credits. So the 2 days we won’t be using them, can we use them on other days? So say 3 quick service meals and 2 snacks?
Where did you get the Key Chain one? So Cool!!! Your Video Is Great!!! I Love it!!!! ♥♥♥ How can you charge it? Is that keychain one for the Magic Band Plus or Magic Band 2? are they both the same size?
@@TheMagicalMiranda Yes!!! I Figured it was an old Model I found it on Walmart site. Shocking Walmart. I Love it is so Cute...But that did lead me to Etsy and I found a Cool One that is Colorful and looks lik a Donut!!! I am so Happy and Excited about Your Video and Where it led me!!! I can't wait to get my Magic Band Plus one!!! Thank You So Much!!! Tons of Hugs to You!!!! Have a Wonderful Day!!!! Great Video!!!!
The Disney dining plan is amazing when you know how to use it right. I get the dining plan when I don’t feel like spending $400 for 4 people for dinner and drinks. Just before the pandemic I used the dining plan and actually ended up spending less than it would have cost me if I had bought all my meals without the dining plan
What my family does is we use small rubber bands (like for hair) and use those over where the band overlaps. I believe you can also purchase other things to hold it together, but that's the cheapest.
@@viviancutler3918 Just make sure to bring a few extras with you in case they break! Plus the little rubber bands also came in handy when I went to Rafiki's Planet Watch and did the Animation Experience. You get to take your drawing with you and I had an extra rubber band, so I rolled it up all nicely and carried it around the rest of the day.
Thank you for explaining that! I talked with two Disney online chat things trying to figure out why I needed the magic band plus if I have the magic mobile, they really do not explain what extras you get that the magic mobile on your watch does versus doesn’t do.
If you’re staying on property, you can use it to unlock your resort hotel room and charge items back to your hotel room. MagicMobile does all of it except the payment back to the room. So basically it’s a convenient way for people to not have their phone out all the time
Where did you get those ear plugs???? I have the exact same issue with noise. I haven't found anything thing that works good. And I where ear muffs and plugs at the same time.
We just booked Orlando for our Honeymoon in April 2025 💍🛩🎊 We plan to visit Disney World over the 3 week stay as much as possible, traveling from Ireland and are staying off property but I think for us it would make more sense to purchase the Magic Band Plus for the parks when we purchase our tickets. So we are at the planning stage and I loved your video, thank you for that information makes it easier to decide 💐
Congrats! That will be so fun! I stay off property often and still love wearing my MagicBand+ because of the fun interactive features! It’s also nice to not have my phone out ALL of the time!
I think you need to visit some of the UK Disney planning channels and websites. My understanding is they won't post the magicbands o/s and you can't make lightning lane bookings etc until your park day (by which time many are booked out). Have read a lot of frustrated posts. Best to sort this out before you buy
We have eaten at Ohana twice in 1 day before & Hope we will again. It was wonderful...The Breakfast is a character meal (although the characters weren't back yet when we went) & dinner, especially if timed properly has not only delicious food but a fireworks view with the music to go along with it. 10,000 out of 10...Not only do I have no regrets but am planning on doing it again!! We just skip lunch that day because you are right, it is a lot of food, very yummy food. I am so glad I didn't listen to advice like this when I was planning our previous trips & I know better to now. Go with what will make you personally happy, even if you have a Disney expert say otherwise, you know your own preference is better than anyone take their words of wisdom & run it through your own personal filter. Vacations are not one size fits all. Advice that works for some might not work for you... If I listen to this advice. It would have prevented Us from having the best experience we had in Disney World. Literally the best memories we have was on the day we ate at Ohana twice.
We’re headed to Disney in 11 days. We got the dining plan because I felt like it dave dis money. Our agent had a deal where the kids tickets were half price if we got the dining plan. It only added $500 to our trip. I really think it saved us money. We’ll see :)
$57 a day per night, per guest? That’s not a savings. I can’t get to $57 a day. $14 for a burger and a $4 drink. $6 snack . I’ll just bring snacks, and eat breakfast in my room
This was such a fun Disney vlog! 😍 Thanks for sharing, Miranda! 💖 I loved seeing your adventures at EPCOT, especially the new Moana Journey of Water attraction!! 💦 I still haven’t seen it yet. I’m hoping that me and my husband can go sometime during the Flower & Garden festival. It looks so cool!
I miss the old dining plan. We saved so much money with it! Is trading a quick service credit for 3 snack credits still a thing? I’ve heard different information about it 🤔
Hi, thanks for the video very informative. Just wanted to clarify, if you are not staying at a Disney resort the Magic Band + won’t work to attach a debit/credit card to it?
Also, what do you use for face sunscreen? I put some on before makeup… but then I never want to reapply because I feel like it’ll break down the makeup!
Hello Miranda, great video! I have two check-in questions. If you're flying in two days before your cruise, should you input flight information for both legs of the journey or just for the departure? Secondly, I watched a video on check-in tips and tricks where the person selected "No" for flight information and instead indicated they were parking at the terminal to speed up the process. They then returned after choosing their bording time to update the flight information. What are your thoughts or suggestions on using this method?
I've seen Disney offer other areas in Greece (Athens etc) . Would you want to do those tours and do they all leave from Rome? My great grandfather came to the US to Greece so would love to stay in Greece longer.
