Thank you. Sept. 1st. That's awesome you get to start your season off that early. I will be hunting a few new states this year with the pack. South Dakota is on the list for this year's hunting trip.
That rabbit made it past dad 4 or 5 times before he finally got it. Just wasn't able to catch it all on film. Thankfully, I was able to catch the shot on film. The dogs ran him for about an hour before dad finally got him. Thanks for watching.
Wow!!! This is a great video. It is an example of a father -son duo following an excellent pack of upper medium speed beagles in action. I loved the laid back attitude of both hunters enjoying a wonderful sport together. I really enjoyed the openness of many of the harvest shots accompanied by beautiful retrieves and smiles on both faces of hunters. This is really a way to enjoy rabbit hunting. Thanks for sharing it with us to enjoy also!!!! Rodger
You have some good looking beagles and they work great . Saddle backs were alway my favorite looking beagles I never cared for the look of cinnamon or the tick beagles.
Thank you. I am very happy with them. I hunt with a guy that prefers the ticked beagles. But I don't think think they look very good either. I prefer the tri colored.
I had a blast seeing him and filming him. If this was a public land buck I would have been happy with him and shot a 3 1/2 year old. But being private I try to manage and only shoot 4 1/2 and older.
