I knew Bob´s good will would not stretch to 7/ 10 --Great stuff , Dick Clement and Ian La Frenais were probably the all time best ,

Maigret has always seemed very dull and pedestrian compared to Poirot and Mrs Marple.

No matter what you think of these episodes, it's a fact that there isn't a single line from any of them that people quote. I have to be honest and say that I have never heard anyone quote these or talk about the stories. Not even the title of an episode.

Oh wow! I remember this show….I think Ed Bishop was the voice of Paul Star and Gerry Anderson created and produced the show🙂 I haven’t seen it in ages.

Such a funny sketch. The stars of Monty Python admitted they got their ideas for playing comedy old women from the way Benny Hill did.

I have been a lifelong fan of Tony Hancock. I watched this series when it was first transmitted and am glad to have found this episode. The decline of his career was a tragedy that sadly ended in his suicide in a hotel room in Sidney, Australia.
